Josh is THE stylist to get. He’s one of those people who should probably be working at a more trendy and expensive salon. Great cuts, fast and knows what he’s doing. A++

Great service! They are all great but Rose is the best! These guys are all great stylists and they focus on giving the customers what they really want. They are also time efficient and considerate.

I just got my hair cut today very very disappointed this young guy Joshua cut my hair he must of not heard word I said he butchered my hair he cut it way to short !! I know next time let the lady’s do they take there time and do it right .

Took my son to get a haircut and Yesenia was the person who cut his hair. She looked in the system and asked if he still wanted to use a 5 on the sides. He told her to use a 6 and trim the top. She used a 6 and just shaved his head with it. I could’ve done that at the house with my clippers for free. She doesn’t know what she’s doing. Taking my son to a real barber from now on

I had my hair cut and styled by Janelle. She cut it perfectly and I’m beyond pleased. Her I give a 5 star!
Joshua the other hairstylist was so loud, obnoxious and annoying. He just wouldn’t shut up, and everything was bla bla bla me me me. Omfg shut up!!! For that this review gets 3 stars. I was ready to throw a pair of scissors at him!

Joshua cut my waist-​length hair to shoulder-​length. He listened and understood exactly what I wanted and did an awesome job executing it. Added bonus was his friendly and personable style made the time fly by. Am enjoying my short haircut and next time I need another cut, I’ll be back to Great Clips looking for Joshua.
When I arrived, there were 2 people seated, 1 at the counter checking in, another woman waiting in front of me. But thanks to online check-​in, I got to bypass all of them and was the next person helped. Yay!

Had long hair, decided to get it cut about 2 inches for summer with long layers. Took more like 4 inches (not long anymore) and no where near resembles the picture I brought in.

after getting my hair butchered by some imbecile at supercuts, in vallejo, i was traumatized and hesitant to let anyone fix it. BUT. how worse could it get?! i was to the point of going as short as need be.
not even 5 days later. i refused to go another night looking the way I was left looking like.
after being seated, the three hair stylets were in complete shock of how bad i got butchered. thank god! they came to my rescue. they gave me a complete new style i’ve never had and I absolutely loved it! this is definitely my go-​to spot.

Awful! I did have a $ 6.99 coupon but she could of did a better job. She didn’t introduce herself so I don’t know her name. Just came in for a trim and she missed so many hairs!

I had buzz cut there today and Hattie slammed those clippers into my head like she was landing an F35 on the deck of an aircraft carrier! Look lady, this is a human skull you’re banging on, not a coconut. I’ve had many haircuts at this place and sometimes they can be rough on the noggin but this lady had the finesse of a crazed T-​Rex!
I’ll return when I feel the need to satisfy my masochistic tendencies!

Last week I needed a trim so I stopped at great clips I was really impressed by the great service plus I was so impressed about time I was telling myself:) so anyways the stylist by the name Anita gave me a great haircut and awesome layers !!! Let me tell you as soon as I walked in there the stylist anita was welcomed me with the big smile and great confident that I knew I wasn’t going to be disappointed:) great place to get a haircut I strongly recommend it!!!

I needed just a quick taper nothing fancy. Not a good experience the lady who cut my hair did not take her time and I was the only customer there it was uneven and had a lot of loose hairs sticking out. Don’t think I’ll be going there again.

Fast, friendly service. I’ve rarely had to wait. They always know how to cut my hair how I want it. It’s always an enjoyable experience.

Aweful, aweful, aweful. This place does not deserve one star. I went to get my bangs trimmed and came out with uneven bangs and them some. Stupid me…
Thinking, i will save money by going to a franchise salon vs a real hair salon. Never again i will go to franchise salon. Id rather pay over $ 30 to trim my bangs.

Took my nephew to get a hair cut. The lady who helped us had no customer service. Took an hour to get a haircut. People would walk in with online check in. I guess it’s convenient but if I’m been waiting at the saloon for more than thirty min I should get the curtesy of saying I will be next or we will be with you.

What time do you close? 9pm– it’s good for people who commute.
Would I go here to get a life altering new hair-​do? Probably not.

Been here a few times though it is quite a drive from where I live in Vallejo. I use the coupons from the Times Herald. Always had an excellent haircut. And when I say I want it short less than a ¼″ on the sides and back, and not shorter than 1 ¼″ on top or else it sticks up i the air … they do what I ask for the first time and it comes out great!

With other chain-​store hair salons, you can do much worse that Great Clips generally speaking. This store – along with other locations like Pinole & Walnut Creek – are owned by the same franchisee. Main problem is that the owner switches out or rotates the employees of these stores constantly. This makes it tough when you get used to a stylist after a couple of visits, and then Poof! they’re gone. This store here at Am Can usually seems to get all the trainee stylists before they learn the ropes, and then it’s off to another store. On the plus side, the store is opened most days until 9pm. Will likely work in a pinch, but they have 4 or 5 people waiting sometimes for a haircut. I also love the computerized system they have that has the clipper settings so the stylist will know how to cut your hair (stored preferences). Look for valuable Great Clip coupons in your newspapers and junk mail inserts. Stylist Erin at last check is now working out of the Pinole location.
