I went there a couple of days ago for a quick bite to eat, I usually go to the Sonics in Union City. Well I always get the same thing, the pretzel bun hotdog with grilled onions and bacon. When my friend and I got our food(we both had the same) the buns were stale and barely hot. Our carhop Audrey, noticed right away that we weren’t happy with our food. Long story short she totally went out of her way to make the food experience better. For that I thank her and will go back again if I am in the neighborhood.

The food was good for it to be fast food but what made my family’s visit spectacular was the great service we received from an employee by the name of Audrey. She had a smile that could light up the darkest room. You could tell that she genuinely loves what she does and she does it well. The first person who came out for our first order didn’t offer any sauces or napkins and wasn’t very lively but when Audrey came out she set a new standard. Before we could ask we had napkins in our hands, she offered ketchup and asked if there was anything else she could do. To say that we were impressed is an understatement.

Audrey was very helpful and friendly. She is one of my favorite workers at sonic in American Canyon california. She has great customer service, goes out of her way to make customers happy, and you can tell she loves working the public. she needs to be a supervisor or a manager. I will be coming back soon and i hope she is my sever again.

Do not got to this location. The people who work there are morons. We drove from benicia for the half priced shakes. When we got there, there was hardly any customers. We ordered our food and got to the window. We asked to order another shake, and she said we they couldn’t add another one, that we had to drive around and order again. With no one in line u might add. We said never mind, and stuck with our order. They then gave us a skimpy shake which wasn’t have price. They would honor the half price shake deal. The food we ordered was also skimp, and tasted horrible. I would give negative stars if I could. Get it together fast food workers. Earn that raise you so desperately want.

This was terrible, first in line in drive thru and was put on hold for 10 minutes with no response when asking. Pull past the drive thru and the guy who takes orders is just talking with a friend in a car that got there before me. 5 people behind me too, everyone left. You just lost a lot of customers, worst place ever, I wish 0 was an option. I wouldn’t even recommend people I don’t like to be served at this place, that would be too cruel. Just happened today in case the GM wants to fire someone and get their act together.

This was my first experience at a Sonic ever and I’m so glad we decided to stop here on our way back from Napa! I wasn’t really sure what to do but I pulled up in a spot and after staring at the menu for a long while and wondering why no one was helping me, I realized that there was a button to push directly in front of me for service. Whoops! :) I pushed the button and we all ordered sandwiches, burgers and shakes. My cousin later told me that I should have gotten a lemon berry slush and now I want to make the drive back just to try one of those! But my burger was delicious and my coconut cream milkshake was unique and tasty! The minus one star was only because they didn’t give us any napkins and she had rushed off so quickly I couldn’t ask for any. Plus I didn’t want to push the button again — I had paper towels in the trunk anyway. Overall though this was a great first experience with Sonic. Just wish there was one closer now to try that slushie…

Just came out to Sonic from Martinez since we don’t have any good fast food in town and it was worth the drive. Chicago dog was excellent, chili-cheese tots delicious, and onion rings were huge and hot. Audrey made the best hot fudge milkshake ever and she was so nice and very accommodating. Audrey I hope this bumps up your restaurant’s rating you deserve it. Melissa, Morgan, & Chaz!!!

2nd visit to the sonic in Napa Valley… got a quick bite for the kiddos on the way out of napa… headed to the airport… it’s like the sonic in san diego… but with a lower IQ… i can’t believe how many times they had to repeat the order back to me… i guess that’s better than getting the order wrong! haha. seriously…totally nice staff… food is the same as any other sonic… quick and easy and made the kids happy

I was on my way home from working in Napa, I had not had dinner yet, and was pleased to see the SONIC road sign here in American Canyon I ordered two Classic Hot dogs, and my favorite Orange Fanta. Sonic does a nice job of presentation, my meal was freshly prepared Hot dogs were warm and the buns warm and soft. For my taste, there was a bit too many onions but it was easy to scrape off. I have stopped at many SONIC drive ins, and find that I can depend on their meals to be consistent from one location to another, Another pleasant experience

Typical Sonics with its fun automospher and quick drive-through service. Quality of food was great. Ordered 2 Sonic Blast(Oreo and Oreo/M&M mix) a cherry slushie and a couple orders of totes and popcorn chicken. Everything tasted great(for fast food) and the in/out drive flow of this location was awesome. Great for a munchie post Napa wine tasting for your long drive back to the city!

THEYKNOWINGLYOVERCHARGECUSTOMERS — READON! 2 pc Mozzarella sticks are $ 1.69 on the menu, but are $ 1.79 on the receipt. When I asked to talk to the manager about it, the manager in training said that they recently raised the prices but haven’t received the new menu signs yet. REALLY? So you’re going to KNOWINGLYOVERCHARGE customers? And to top it off, when the carhop delivered the food, she asked if I wanted the receipt(which tipped me off that I should inspect it). How about waiting until you install the new menu signs before raising the prices? I’ve attached a picture. Wondering what other items they’re overcharging for, and how long it’s been going on.

Because Hawaii does not have a Sonic, I’m always excited about getting my Sonic fix whenever I’m on the mainland. I only go to Sonic for two things… sonic blast and tater tots. I’ve been to other Sonic locations, and there really isn’t much differences between them. If you’re craving ice cream and perhaps wanted to change things up and get tater tots instead of fries with your ice cream… AND want to go to a drive-in rather than a drive-thru, then go to Sonic.
