Astro’s Pizza

Absolutely delicious, well-​prepared pasta dishes and pizza. However, the high prices are a turn-​off, and they keep us from being frequent diners.

One of the best pizza I have had! If you are in the neighborhood stop by and try it. Locals know the spot and indulge on pizza. They offer restaurant seating as well and the food is well prepared & delicious !

I have been going to Astros since I was a kid. Unfortunately the current part of the family who are running it are not tolerant of kids and couldn’t be ruder. Definitely don’t come here if you have kids who act like kids! As far as the food is concerned, the pizza looks as if it was cooked days ago and probably was. If you like tasteless, chewy crust, barely any sauce, and cheese that has been sitting out a bit too long, then this is the place for you. I would rather have ketchup on a bagel.

Pleasantly surprised with this restaurant … The restaurant is split into two: one side for pizza (Astro Pizza and can be for take out) and the other side (Felice’s Italian) for sit down Italian pasta dishes.
Restaurant was able to accommodate our party of 11 (barely, they also have separate booths that can sit 4 – 6)
Food was delicious and well portioned. We had:
— mussels with white wine sauce appetizer was absolutely delicious! Highly recommend!
— veal Marsala — another well made dish and would highly recommend!
— lobster ravioli — friend had it and also enjoyed it; said it wasn’t too heavy either (another plus)
— penne with vodka sauce — this was good, but after a while, it was too much of a good thing
— chicken parmesan with linguine — sauce may have been a little salty, but chicken parm was good
We had a few other dishes that I didn’t try, but altogether our entire group was more than satisfied customers.
Also, depending on when you go, they have 2 dinners for $ 25 or $ 30.
We didn’t order any pizza, so can’t vouch for that. Only other tip I would offer is… if you decide to go on the later side, I recommend calling in advance to make sure they will be open.

Great pizza & best cappuccino ever! Astro’s has totally fantastic pizza, great salads, and excellent pasta dishes (penne a la vodka and gnocchi bolognese are favorites). If you love cappuccino, ask Tony to make one for you. They are the best ever, and worth a trip just to score this one item!

My dream pizza. I have never had anything but the regular slice because it is so good I can’t get myself to try another kind. The sauce and cheese are just perfection, the quintessential slice… and I know my pizza! The chicken egg drop soup is hearty and delicious and the heroes tender and fresh. I wish I lived next door to this place.

It is what it is and that’s fine. We weren’t expecting a gourmet meal. We wanted something quick and easy. The pizza slices were average but the meat lovers panini and pepperoni rolls were enjoyed by the others in our group. The service is friendly and we got what we expected — a quick dinner to satisfy a tired and hungry crew.

We frequently order pizza from Astros year round. We order the lite pizza, which is delicious, as well as their regular cheese pizza. They make their pizza with a soft, sweet crust that is extremely delicious. The people are friendly as well. Great place to get pizza in amagansett.

Don’t waste your time. Pizza is horrible. Everything is horrible and greasy. The service is rude and obnoxious. I have given them multiple tries and have been disappointed every time.

Great food, friendly service. Their grandma slice is fantastic. This place has been around for over 40 years and there is good reason why. Highly recommended.

The first slices were so good we came back within the week. To be sure the casual self service dining room was just that but, it’s all about the pizza and the specialty pizza is the best I’ve had in the hamptons, or anywhere else. We had the pommodoro, white pizza, spinach and ricotta and the veg pizza. All were excellent with generous toppings and the crunchy thick crust was perfect. I am looking reward to coming back and now I have a reason to try their table service dining room to see how they do with a full menu.

It was late. Astro’s was open. That made me very, very happy. So did the mozerella sticks.

Genuine family owned place. Everyone was really nice. I had a meat panini. It was excellent. I also ordered an Italian hero to go. Have yet to try it as I wrote this before hand. Prices are resonable. I left there spending just under $ 20 for lunch and dinner combined. Not bad for the Hamptons. Would definitely come back.

It’s weird to see people complain about soggy crust. The slice of cheese I got while waiting for the Jitney was super crispy. I thought the pizza was simple and delicious. Only complaint was it was $ 6 for a small slice and bottle of water — but it is the Hamptons!

From a late night slice to a pre-​trip panini, this place has served me well, and it has done so at the most reasonable prices I’ve encountered in this town. So glad for the tasty, fast, and inexpensive food option that Astro’s provides.
The slice with fresh tomatoes, fresh mozz and a dash of pesto sauce was especially delicious!

Great authentic Italian pizza parlor, family run, great service, great food.

Fantastic old school greasy NYC style pizza. Amazing eggplant anything. Great wonderful old school Italian restaurant. Real pasta. Real food. Pizza parlor, is perfection. Family run business for generations.
Sometimes families get aggressive — sometimes they yell — hey it’s all part of the show. It’s pizza — not anger management!

Yummy!!! Had the best gnocchi bolognese ever here! It seriously melts in your mouth. The white pizza is also delicious, you can buy it by the slice for a couple dollars. The staff was friendly and happy to help in any way.
