Starbucks

This Starbucks has the most unreliable baristas, all of them make drinks differently. I ordered a iced coffee with 3 pumps of vanilla one day — perfect. I order the same thing a few days later (different barista) — shitiest drink, had to ask for simple syrup. The only barista I like is the tall dark haired guy. It’s always busy in the morning, although that doesn’t bother me because so is every other Starbucks in the morning. People spend hours sitting there, which I’ve always hated about every Starbucks

Not sure why I bothered to go to this location. However, my annoyance stems from the baristas not having any whip cream and waiting until the drink was done to tell me. I’ve gone to plenty Starbucks and have waited for them to get whip cream from the back. I’m not sure if the crew was ready to get off or not but it sucks not to get full service. Yes this is a rant about whip cream lol (and the fact that they are slow). The whip cream is the only reason why I’d choose Starbucks over Dunkins’. It’s just weird how the overall interaction happens. I ordered a frap with whip and a cookie. Then forgot a coffee and ordered it afterwards with whip. The second drink I ordered was made with whip might I say but not the first drink which came after the two customers behind me. Then I had to ask the the cashier if I was getting my cookie. Moral of the story… I won’t be coming back to this location. I’d rather get Starbucks and service from the Safeway down the street.

I sometimes spend entire days here reading and working. This location is extremely busy in the morning and especially on Saturdays. I’d add that the sitting area can get pretty full sometime with the amount of senior that visit this location. The best work spots are on the back wall to the left. They have a few electric outlets on this side and the seats are nicer.

Always crowded and never enough staff. Plus the place can be cleaner and the customer service can be better. Not very pleasant baristas.

I’m always impressed by the quality of service. They’re always polite and go out of their way to make things right. Definitely one of my favourite stores.

5 $ a cup of coffee and the morning rush can be busy? This should be obvious but the staff here are always great and I do love the product. I admit they know me by name and type of coffee and I do go very early when not busy but everyone complains and the place is packed? There really isn’t a surprise here so it is what it is.

I like most coffee drinkers have been to several Starbucks locations in various cities and states. The fact I feel the need to review the location should tell you enough. This is not only the worst Starbucks I hand every been to, it’s one of the worst food or drink establishments ever. I have tried various times and didn’t have any change in the suckiness of my experience. Slow staff always the drink tastes gross and usually they forget to give me the food I order. I have to remind them once out twice. I have seen people behind the bar just standing around chin resting and not doing anything, while the line of customers was out the door. Horrible. I hope by writing this they will eventually someone will fire the staff and start over.

Inexplicably crowded at all hours, never any parking, always long lines, slow baristas, what’s not to hate? Avoid if possible.

Thought I’d stop by and get a nice hot caramel latte, since this tends to be one of my favorite drinks from here. But first off the fact that the store was practically empty and it still took the employees so long to take my order I was not too happy about that. And as long as they took making my drink it was not even all that good. But it was not completely a horrible during but I been here before and I know it can be made better.
A lot of their drinks are usually good for the most part and it’s just a few rare times like this that I have a complaint about how my drink was made or a bout their service. I will continue to come to this store but if I get more drinks that aren’t to my satisfactory then I will have to stop coming here over all.

Used to go a bit but there’s been a staffing change and the quality of drinks and speed of service has gone down the tubes. I never go in the morning anymore because standing in line is at least 10 mins and then 15 for the drink so I don’t bother.

This Starbucks never seems to have its act together, consistently understaffing the morning rush. Not to be too picky, but a 20 minute wait for a latte is pretty bad.

This Starbucks is located in the Bradlee shopping center, off of King St. The staff here is very friendly, and it has a nice laid back atmosphere. The baristas, Ms. Claudia and another one that I forgot the name of (he’s the tall one with the headphones), really make your beverages on point! The place gets packed in the mornings, but the staff here is pretty efficient in keeping the line moving. They are also quick in making your beverages, but make it a point to make it right. Going in and out of the parking lot is kind of a pain with cars whizzing in and out, but it’s a good location to make a quick pit-​stop to get some coffee before work: D

Two stars for the «front of house» in that there isn’t enough room for the line, making it a disorganized mess up front. They had the hallway to the restrooms lined with supplies and boxes, making it difficult to get by without shimmying past. The staff is friendly enough, so three stars there. What brings it up to four stars for me is the seating. Far from the front, so it’s quiet with ample seating, a mix of two and four top tables, one long communal table for laptops and six leather chairs for singles. Many Starbucks have cut back on comfortable seating, but this one has it in abundance.

I wanted to try out this Starbucks on my way to work hoping that they would be quick and efficient. WRONG. The white, tall, skinny, barista man with dark hair and headphones or something around his neck makes it seem like every drink is the weirdest drink and your inconveniencing him that he has to make it for you. He also yells/​condescendingly speaks to his fellow employees. Took forever and STILL got my order wrong. I ordered a grande Americano with some skim milk. easiest drink aside from pouring the actual coffee from the dispenser. Never going back!

Big location with lots of places to sit. They have a message board for community happenings. Coffee has always been well made. A little sparse in the pastries in the evening but other than that a good Starbucks.

I hate to say it, but this starbucks location is pretty bad.
The line can move relatively fast, but half of the baristas are incompetent. I order the same thing every time I go in. Sometimes it is spot-​on. The last two times my drink has been gross. I actually drove from this location all the way to the end of old town, and came back just to exchange my drink. The barista clearly left out the syrup so it just tasted like burnt espresso with milk. I also have to remind the baristas that the cinnamon dolce latte needs to have the cinnamon sprinkles on top. Clearly some people there need to be retrained (one person in particular…)
It is killing me. That said, the other half of the employees are rockstars and very patient with customers given the high traffic of the location. There’s clearly drama behind the scenes, as you can catch conversations between employees along the lines of «I don’t care that we’re busy, I’m going on break in 2 minutes and 10 seconds» — shoot.
The management seems pretty good — that’s worth noting. If I go in and see certain employees working I feel much better when I order!

My Peruvian Princess and I ventured over to Starbucks for a cup of Java since the Alexandria pastry shop next door was closed in observance of Easter Sunday.
Despite the long line of customers I was impressed with the customer service. Two barista’s efficiently managed the orders at the cashier while another barista served up the special order drinks. Another barista was back filling between the cashiers and making coffee. I noticed the barista was always expressing gratitude and thanks to the customers. Keep at it Starbucks!
