I used to order from this store all the time but the service and quality has declined tremendously. I just order from dominos now.

Awesome people. I am currently house sitting my sisters house at hybla valley… And I live in the kingstowne area. So this papa johns is registered under my location. I ordered a pizza today to my house accidentally instead of where I am currently right now and I had to call this papa johns to let them know about my mistake and they quickly were very nice and transferred my order to the papa johns near where I am currently. I did not get any rude comment or anything. I can say I had the best customer service from this papa John if you want a great experience order from this Papa John.

As others have said the service at this papa johns is pretty good. I believe nearly every time I’ve carried out from this location they have opened the door for me. While those things are nice the real reason your ordering pizza is for the pizza. The pizza is good but the accuracy of my order has been an issue on a few occasions. Most recently twice in the past month have I ordered a pizza and toppings have been left off my pizza. I would be more understanding of I ordered pizza during especially high peak times but I typically order in between meal times or right at opening in the morning. In summary I would suggest you check your order for accuracy at this location before you leave.

Been here in different situations and I always get greeted, the cashier or somebody always opening the door. Great interpersonal skills great service. Pizza is okay but its way better than the pizza hut… geesh! And I love pizza hut just not Virginia pizza hut.

Pretty reliable. I usually get delivery, in which they are great. But tonight I got carry out. The service was okay. The Asst Manager came out and checked on me while I waited for my pie. Thought that was good but the cashier seemed disinterested in serving myself or the other patrons. I did see one customer service rep get the patrons’ pizzas and then open the door for them. Pretty darn nice.

Decent location. I order via phone and pick up usually. Never had an issue. They accept coupons as well. I prefer papa johns to most of the other chain brands. Check out is fast and friendly. Pizza is always ready and order is correct.

Ordered pizza from this location numerous times, and the pizza was fine; however, the customer service was the worst I have ever experienced in the last 40 years of my life. Do not go here, because the manager will treat every single customer with no respect. A man with no degree, the manager acts as if he is controls the consumer; but in reality he is just a manager making nothing. He also served us cold pizza after relentlessly arguing with me on a matter of how many packets of red chili flakes to hand out. He is the general manager of this location and his name is Babar Qayyum. I hope people take this into consideration when ordering pizza from Papa Johns next time and want to ensure that everyone is treated with respect.

I am utterly shocked at what a poor experience I had with this location this evening. First let me say the purpose of my order was to get 25 pizzas for about 100 soldiers and their families for a holiday event. It’s a way we actually get to see what our husbands or wives are doing and get to know each other and give them a thank you for all they do for us. Moving on, a call was placed by the FRG coordinator to the Kingstowne location and a gentlemen we were told was named Zubear answered to take our order. We first needed a price, then get that price approved by the committee before placing the order. She explained what unit we were calling from and how many pizzas we would need. Once the coordinator told him we were a military organization he informed us «great I can offer you $ 6.99 per large one topping pizza for those 25 pizzas, however we cannot deliver to Fort Belvoir».The coordinator explained pick up would be no problem on Friday we will call back in 5 minutes to place the order. Well she did call back with committee approval to find out the gentleman we spoke to wasn’t Zubear. His name was in fact Tony. While he was very polite she was informed the store manager’s name was Zubear. Zubear got on the phone and was extremely short with the coordinator and was unwilling to honor the price we were quoted as those prices are, «for schools only.» Mind you we were informed this was an AARP rate which would suggest a senior rate but that’s neither here nor there. She begged Zubear to make this right and just honor the prices we were originally promised. The call was ended and I called back as a last ditch effort to rectify the situation. I called and identified myself as the leader of the FRG whom was responsible for ensuring this function goes smoothly. I explained that in all the years I have been in customer service that I have never heard of not honoring an estimate given 5 minutes prior. The only answer I was given is «I can’t help you» and«it’s against our policy unless you’re a school». At this point I was pretty frustrated and informed Zubear that if he didn’t rectify this situation I would contact the franchise owner, the franchise system itself, post a review on Unilocal,Google plus, urban spoon, and facebook. I insisted it wasn’t my goal to cause problems and gave him ample opportunity to correct their mistake. Zubear’s response was, «you’re trying to get me in trouble and it’s not nice.» I informed him I was absolutely not trying to «get him in trouble» I ONLY wanted good customer service! He then put me on hold for several minutes to call his store manager. When I asked him to clarify since he stated he was the manager earlier in the call he dismissed my claim. I pushed the issue and he said he was sorry. The one and only time I received an apology. After two long hold periods I was able to research who owned the particular franchise to allow Zubear a final chance to rectify the mistake he and this location had made. He refused simply stating he would have his real store manager(he claimed he was the«shift manager» at that point) give me a call first thing in the morning. Here’s the thing, my issue isn’t that we didn’t get a deal on pizza from this location. My issue is that I was promised a price and five minutes later someone made a decision stating it was absolutely impossible for him to assist me with the price we agreed upon. A tip for this Zubear person and whatever title he actually has at this store; first don’t lie to your customers, and secondly learn that your customers are always more important than black and white policies. Telling someone I can’t help you 17 times on a phone call is unacceptable. Lastly under no circumstances is it EVER acceptable to raise your voice or try to cut off/talk over a customer no matter how upset they were. I never once cursed or was insulting. I simply let you know how very disappointed I was and that you needed to fix the issue. I will be contacting the local paper on Fort Belvoir to let all of the soldiers(many of whom live in Kingstowne or close by) how unimportant and invaluable their patronage is to you. Thank you for the worst experience ever. Not only did you loose an almost $ 200 order and a hell of a tip but all my and many other’s business permanently. I wish there was a way to rate with zero stars…

I have to brake this review in it own part. THECALL. I call the Papa John and gave them the address of the hotel. Forgotten in give the room. I called back and waited and waited. Called back and gave them my cell. They end up trying to dismissed my call and I got my manager. End up getting the Meal for free. the call taker only get just one star. Manager get a three star in doing something in getting my food to me. THEMEAL. My brother order the personal meat lover pizza. I ordered two order of hot wing and extra ranch. didn’t get the amount I whaled. But over all i got it for free. But the chocolate chip cookie pie was yummy I’m not going to order from them again. But thank for the free meal.

I’ve been a long time customer of this location. Normally pretty consistent quality. However, when they do screw up they do it right. Cold Pizza today, under cooked chicken and all the«Extra’s» ordered were not delivered.

Only ordered from Papa Johns for the Cheeseburger Pizza, which was awesome and no longer available on line — tried Poppers and Meat Pizza — GROSS. Not cooked chicken, and really bad pizza. It’s ok. I have cheese and an oven!. DISAPPOINTED! it is awful and this pizza is not good… (just as I expected!!) BRINGBACKCHEESEBURGERPIZZA. The only good thing from Pappa Johns!

I have used Papa John’s for a long time and like their pizza. I ordered pizza and it arrived hot, unfortunately, it had also been carried sideways and the cheese had slid off to one half and into the box. It was also not cut all the way through and I had to re-cut it. It was my worst experience with Papa John’s and I will use a different one next time I want pizza. Also wasn’t keen on their 5 sausage pizza, but that was due to the toppings and not this location. It was just way too salty for me.

Garbage. I understand that this is a chain fast food restaurant, which is my beef with it. Placed my order at 4:16. One thin crust, cheese sticks, and an order of chicken strips. At 5:15 we called to make sure everything was ok. At 545 the pizza showed, cold. The entire order. While waiting for the oven to heat up our fast food dinner, we called to alert the manager and got a nothing but an apathetic run around. Not an apology, but a half attempt at corporate policy. Never again.

Annoyed and disappointed! We have ordered delivery from here before online got it no problem. Today I ordered online called to confirm and low and behold the manager said they don’t deliver here. I told him they do and they have and he said no never?!? Seriously? I’m less than 2 miles away, and they HAVE many times before!

Yum. The pizzas that I have received from this location have been consistently good and I have never been disappointed. But every once in a while we get a pizza that is SO good that we seriously cannot stop talking it. I can’t even describe it… like the crust is extra soft but crisp on the outside and the toppings are the perfect combination of hot and gooey. I don’t know. It’s like the occasional pizza magic. But all the other times, it’s still good. Last night I had the super yummy Hawaiian BBQ chicken pizza. This may sound odd, but I was especially happy that my pizza was cut so that the slices were almost all the same size. Often there is a mix of ‘big’ and ‘little’ pieces that cause contention in the pizza distribution. Ordering online is quick and easy and I like that I get a confirmation email with the time I should expect my pizza. I don’t ever remember the pizza being longer than the estimated time. The only bad part is the $ 2 delivery fee. I’m not a huge fan of that, but I guess over time I’ll make up for it in free pizzas with the rewards program. The rewards program is really great. I’ve gotten 3 free pizzas so far(including the pizza and 2 liter from the superbowl). I’ve never been to the actual location so I cannot comment on any aspects of the store. The drivers have always been friendly though.
