Mom and I were craving a Philly cheese steak and I found this place on Unilocal. The owner was taking our orders, he’s very friendly and was very welcoming. We ended up ordering a grilled chicken salad with a honey mustard dressing and a Chick O’ Philly. The grilled chicken was yummy and the salad ingredients were fresh and the honey mustard dressing had a sweet, rich taste. The Chick O’ Philly tasted very good but was nothing special. They have plenty of tables, it’s good for brunch, lunch, and a casual dinner.

This place has the absolute worst customer service. I will never spend my money here again. The food isn’t great. What kept me coming back was how close it is to my office. I’ll only bore you with 3 of my horrible experiences but trust me I have plenty. One morning, I ordered breakfast with the male owner. I placed the exact same order the next day with the female owner and she charged me more and gave me less food. I showed her the receipt and told her that her husband gave me 2 small containers of one of my items vs. the one small one she gave me. She said, «Oh, he charged you the wrong price and he gave you too much, we don’t give that much.» I asked her if she’d at least honor the price since I had the receipt and the orders were identical. Her response was«No, because he charged you the wrong price I’m sorry.» She asked me if she could keep the receipt and said she’d talk to her husband. That was it. Bad business! I tried ordering breakfast once by phone so I called the restaurant. I literally called 10 times and they never answered. I checked the hours online and it said they were open. I left my office and drove there to order. When I got there I asked the cashier what time they opened because I had been trying to call. She said, «I saw you calling but I can’t always answer the phone.» That was all she said with a straight face. I decided to give them another chance this morning because they’re so close to my office. I placed an order over the phone with the same unfriendly woman who works the register. She gave me my total and rushed me off the phone. When I got to the restaurant there was no one in line and my food was sitting on the counter with a receipt that said my name. The woman never acknowledged my presence. She stood right in front of me chopping potatoes. After about 45 seconds I said«Hi». She responded, «give me a minute». I stood there while she finished chopping potatoes, oiled the stove, placed the potatoes perfectly on the stove, sprinkled them with salt and then pepper and then I was done. I politely told her don’t bother stopping what you’re doing I’ll go somewhere else. She never said a word. At this point I’ve had it with this place and I’d rather pay the extra money for an IHOP breakfast that comes with a smile and sense of urgency.

Food is ok but always wait at least 15 minutes for the food to be ready, if you are in a rush for quick lunch, I would not suggested. Overall, friendly staffs

Noticed the owner not in. Staff acted like they didn’t want to be here. Poor customer service. I stepped in at 11:30 am(no one in front of me) and didn’t get my food until 11:55 am. What’s up with that? This may be my last time here if I’m getting service like this.

We had the pepperoni pizza and it was not very good. The cheese tasted like supermarket mozzarella. The chicken wings however were pretty awesome. I wouldn’t go here just for the chicken wings though. My husband said the pastas were good here. I don’t think I will come back which is unfortunate since it’s right in my backyard.

The only reaaon I’m giving this 1 star is because 0 wasn’t an option. I honestly don’t know why people love this place so much because I hate it. The spaghetti tastes like cardboard and the sandwich bread is hard as a rock. The inside is too tight to walk around comfortably and it’s just really not good. Remember, if the menu is too expansive it usually means they don’t have a specialty and subsequently results in many choices of mediocre food.

Tried the pizza here. A small step above school cafeteria pizza. Very doughy. Won’t be ordering pizza from here again.

I love this place! The owners & cooks are super friendly, the food is great, you’ll never be waiting for too long for delivery & they have the best ranch sauce hands down! This is the only place I order from. Can be a bit pricey but it’s well worth it. They use all natural products & it’s always made fresh right in front of you.

This is an awesome place! Best breakfast around, to include their lunch & pizza. Prices are very cheap, more importantly, they are family owned. Everything is made to order and fresh.

This is the second time I have ordered from Franconia. The first time only took 40 mins for my pizza to arrive. Now, I’ve been waiting 2 hours, i have called the restaurant 4 times and my pizza has yet to arrive. I could understand if my order was large, but I ordered ONE bloody large pizza! This is absurd! The pizza is GOOD, so I’ll probably continue to order from there. Just beware that this may happen.

Never tried this place when the old owners had it. I’ve tried it numerous times. Their pizza is amazing cheese and sauce. The crust is ok, it’s like a really good version of pizza hut’s crust(i hate pizza hut) but overall the pizza is a must try from this place. The steak and cheese was pretty good(i got #3 s/c) The cheeseburger sub is probably the second best i’ve had in the area. Overall, you can’t go wrong trying this place. New owners or not.

I haven’t tried the pizza since new management took over in the fall and really wasn’t thinking of going back. However, stopped by yesterday to buy a water and saw the cook preparing a cheesesteak sub, it looked good so I tried it. Really enjoyed it, well made, well seasoned, made to order and the roll was toasted which I think is a priority in a steak sub. AND, the french fries and onion rings were tasty, crisp, hot, and not greasy. What a concept! The owners were friendly and accomodating which made the whole experience a pleasure. I’ll definitely go back(they deliver too).

Came by during the summer to get a slice of pepperoni for lunch. They had a pretty good lunch special so my slice was pretty cheap. There were a good amount of people inside and my pizza came out quickly. Your standard pizza slice but pretty good flavors.

I had stopped in at the 7 – 11 next door a few days earlier outside the normal business hours for Franconia Pizza. While walking into the 7 – 11 I saw the pizza shop’s signs advertising their Monday and Tuesday special of slices being just $ 0.99! That’s a bargain for a slice even if it was the quality of a Papa John’s or Pizza Hut. So, the following Monday I dropped into Franconia Pizza around 1:15pm. It’s not the peak of the lunch hour but definitely still lunch time. The inside is small and the furnishings are dated. I took a gander at the menu that’s hung on the wall above the cash registers and stepped up to place my order. I asked for two slices, one cheese and the other pepperoni and to go. The woman blew me away with her response, «Sorry, we’re all out of slices for today.» I was so shocked I asked her, «You’re out of slices?» She flatly stated that they only make so many slices per day and that they normally run out before the afternoon but that on that particular day they had run out before noon. Um excuse me!!! You’re a PIZZA shop! How do you«run out» of slices? Don’t slices come from a whole pie? Yes, okay then make more pies and cut them into slices and people will still be buying them at 1:15pm. Despite those thoughts in my head I was actually nice to the lady and thanked her for her time but I’d be on my way. The pizza here could be God’s gift to man and I won’t return to try it. I worked for a few months at an independent pizza shop a few years back for extra money and we NEVER ran out of slices because we wanted to keep our customers coming in and coming back. Too bad this joint isn’t hip to customer service.
