Amazing. Jacqueline is wonderful. I had an event here, and she was fun, flexible, professional. She has amazing shows, and a great energy. I have been exposed to wonderful work by going to her shows.

I truly love Autobody Fine Art. I attended Jaquelin’s Critique Salon at the gallery and I really came away with a profound and forward moving perspective of where to go with my own talents. There is always something wonderful to behold at Autobody. Viewing the latest work there while cruising and playing in the Park St area is often a part of my more fabulous days. I hope they are able to thrive and continue to be an amazing opportunity and experience for local artists, art lovers and culture concerned citizens in the Bay Area. Please contribute to Autobody Fine art if you can. They need patrons. Lets help make this independent, small, local business and all around great idea work.

Was here for a benefit for pups. Wonderful space. Great and accomodating friendly owners and staff. Very cool collections and style. Upstairs area standing room. Stays true to vintage Alameda. Located above an antique store, look for the door to the right and you’ll find the stairs that lead up to the gallery. Great big windows that overlook the up and coming Park Street. Great location, next to restaurants, bars and shops.

great gallery with some really cool artists featured. the matt136 show is awesome and the«everybody get up» show in the back was awesome, too. the people here are really nice, too. i hope to have a show here in the future. at first, it might be a little difficult to find, but it’s worth the adventure. the location is also great. there are tons of restaurants on park.

Wow, who’d have thought? Well, then again I guess we mostly already know there’s good taste in Alameda :-) This place is an eclectic mix of art genres, art supporters, dog lovers(hey, who isn’t) and gastronomes … Seems there’s something for everyone there. Don’t like the art you see today then come back ’cause it will all change. The ‘events’ are great fun with great food and if you’re not looking for excitement just go chill with the resident«puppies». The folks here are friendly and they know their stuff. Kudos to them for supporting the community as well.

Their shows are consistently good, the peeps are friendly, and they host lots of benefits for the four legged creatures. Props to the curator.

After a very nice lunch, my friend Marisa and I enjoyed a nice stroll down Park St. and ended up browsing this nice art gallery. The owner was super nice, and this completed a very pleasant sunday afternoon.

One of my very favorite galleries, shows are consistently museum-quality with a well-rounded stable of artists.

I have to say that my favorite part of Autobody was the two dogs — one of which had his legs propped up on the other one. But there are classes to take, and enormous good will in the form of the Australian(?) owner/mgr — she’s amazingly intense and kind. It’s definitely worth a stop on your Alameda-loop.

Autobody ratchets up Alameda’s hipness a lot. Alameda finally has a good art gallery on Park Street. The current show has some great non-representational water colors. If you’re in the area you need to check it out. Look for a inconspicuous door on Park Street between Lee’s Auto Supplies and The Drop In Bar.

Besides good eats, this gallery also represents perhaps the newest and best spot in town to initiate an artsy orgy. It’s an old Park street side loft turned sweet pad/bad ass art space. The entrance is a little inconspicuous(the graffittied grand stairwell entry is located between Park Street Antiques and Lee Auto Shop), but once inside, it does not take long to realize that these owners are the pimpest thing to hit the island since Percy Crosby. There is an invisible superhighway going on in here. I saw a couple people get side swiped with jutting hips and get fingers stuck in eyes due to art-inspired over zealous body language, as people not in cars flew around the room in what seemed to be a full fledged race to complete the most laps from the front to the back. The race, however, did not help the band set up before our mass exodus. Oh yeah, and I gotto say, maybe I can barely hold my own in a conversation about, aw shit, I don’t know, Picasso, but still, we gotto get these two buck chuck dripping hipster clowns outta here and bring on the big swingers. I mean, at least take a minute to lint roll the pet dander off of your stinky pee stained skirt before you leave the house. Let’s wear turtlenecks and practice our critical gazes, Alameda. Get in the game. Take one for the team. Brush your hair. Oh, will we be coming back here? Fuck yes. This place is a new hotbed for bay area booty. I will definitely be back.
