Went here because of a Groupon we found. We were wanting to try a new place, and thought we would give it a try. It said they sold«tacos in Indian fry bread» under the highlights of the Groupon, but we when we drove up here, we found out they didn’t sell those any more. Disappointing because that’s what sold us to this place; it’s hard to find fry bread dishes. Other than that, our experience was great. Nice atmosphere, friendly waitress, good food and service. Would have given it 5 stars if we didn’t drive all the way here from Lakewood for food that wasn’t served anymore.

Great location for drinks and food. I was able to park outside the circle and walk like 3 minutes. Food and beverages were great. Service was great. It was nice to go somewhere in Addison without the battle of too much traffic and not enough parking.

Went here on a Saturday afternoon and met up with a friend for a few beers. I think they used to have smoking inside but don’t any more, but there’s still a residual(a non smoker can tell, you know). Reasonable selection of beers on tap, in bottles, and in cans. Wanted to bit to take the edge off so ordered the cheese fries. They were pretty good. Looked like there were some other good choices if I had wanted something more substantial. There’s plenty of TVs around which had a good selection of games on. Overall, friendly and quick service, good beers, food was decent.

I was here for the happy hour and they had my college basketball team playing on the big screen. Very good happy hour $ 3 draft and wells. Plus $ 5 apps.

Not a bad spot for beer and the food is pretty good for the area when one considers that it is a bar. They have reasonable prices as well. I would definitely say it’s the best casual bar in the Addison Circle area. If you live within walking distance it is even better. Free Taco Bar on Thursday nights as well!

I purchased a Groupon so I tried this place out. I was not impressed with the food, nor service. Our waitress had some serious attitude. She wouldn’t even acknowledged our thank you’s each time she brought us a drink or food. Furthermore, I was full, so i wanted to order dessert(to meet the groupon food value $ 20) so I asked for the dessert to go… They said it was for dine in only. Seriously? I was already going to have to tip on the service provided anyway. What was the big deal about me eating it at home? Frankly, it just rubbed me the wrong way. Their prices in their menu didn’t match what we were charged, but I wasnt going to fuss over the $ 0.50. I always tip 20%+, but this was the first time in my life I left less. I was frankly displeased. Also, I understand bars need to make money, but I ordered a double Tito’s on the rocks and they charged me $ 14. That’s almost how much they pay for the entire liter. I’m glad my double pour practically pays for their bottle. They must be making a killing. I wont ever go back.

This is a comfortable nom-smoking pub on Addison Circle full of upwardly mobile professionals. Service is friendly, and food is better than most bars Outside of happy hour, brew prices are a little high — $ 4 for a draft Miller Light, $ 5.50 for a Stella. Speaking of happy hour, burgers are $ 5 on Tuesday 8:00PM to close, and on Thursdays select drafts are $ 3, and they put out a taco bar. Parking is a bit of a hassle. If you can’t snag one of the nearby spots on the street, you’re in a parking garage.

I go there because everywhere else is even worse. Lion n the crown is dirty. Taco Borracho is awkward and music is lame. Astoria is for stinky foreigners that smoke way too many cigarettes. Union Point is okay too, but on a Friday or Saturday night it’s a scary place to be(saw some get stabbed and another time a man punching a woman in the face). Like I said mucky duck is voted best local bar.

Cozy, dark pub with decent food and service. I lived in Addison Circle for 5 years and was a regular here then. Since then, the staff has rotated quite frequently but remains decent. It’s a great place for anything sports, with LOADS of TVs. They also have a decent patio out back but no dogs are allowed — which is DUMB in Addison Circle. The food is decent pub fare and they do rotating daily lunch specials. That is the best bang for your buck; along with their $ 4 crown and down night on Thursdays.

It is something to do while you’re cruising around Addison Circle as your options are extremely limited. Parking also can be kind of sparse during certain times of the year. Pretty much all the young folk in the area come out here to knock down a few cervezas. The food I will say surprised me and is pretty good. We had some kind of sliders that I enjoyed. And the music is decent as well. I would come if I was in the area going to a festival or something but I just would not go out go out of my way to come here. Service when I have been was hit or miss.

This bar was so freaking cute and fun, I just wanted to put it in my pocket and take it back to vegas with me! Classic hole in the wall with friendly bar staff, decent prices and fun trivia games. Loved it!

This place is the prototype neighborhood dive bar. Most days you’ll find the same people there, and everyone seems to vaguely know everyone else, or will at least start taking to them at the drop of a hat. Drinks are stiff and priced well. Food is decent but forgettable. Lights are low. Bartenders and servers are attractive. Bathrooms are kinda gross. Great neighborhood dive bar. They even have a TV channel dedicated to Internet video clips and funny pictures that’s kinda unique and different.

Recently went here to join friends to watch some basketball and grab a bite to eat. It has a nice atmosphere to it. The service was good at being timely and attentive. Our server came by to deliver our second round of drinks. We were at a raised table and I lowered my arm and hit her tray, drenching my lap with beer. She apologized and grabbed towels, which is expected. The food came and I was underwhelmed by the wings. The seasoning was just bland. Then came the checks. Usually after getting a drink spilled on me at an establishment there is some sort of discount on the meal, or at least give me that one drink free. I understand that I hit her tray but she was holding it directly under my arm. Also she was having a lot of trouble with the machine and kept asking us for the cards. Normally not a big deal. She reassured that our cards would not be charged multiple times. Looking at his statement my friend was charged for his meal 3 times! I have yet to check my statement, but wont be surprised to see the same thing. Easy to say that I will not be coming back here again.

The Mucky Duck Bar(say that 10 times fast!) used to be Zen like 5 years. Not much has changed. Pretty much the same décor(a little tweaking here and there) and, being that it’s located in Addison Circle, it wasn’t surprising to see some family faces from over a decade before. It’s just that way in this area for whatever reason… umerm. Decent 80s jams play throughout. Think soft metal. Rock out with your c&^k out! Smoking is permitted on the back patio and they have space heaters out during cooler weather. The patrons are pretty chill during the week, but can get a bit rowdy on the weekends. Live DJ on Fri & Sat from 10-close. I guess I’m just getting too old for the«scene» — but wait, those«same» peeps have gotten old too. To each their own! One plus for me is they have a bright shiny new hi-def«crack box»(aka Mega Touch Game Machine) at the end of the bar — love me some trivia(takes cash or credit; live trivia on Wednesdays). Mucky obviously resets the machine every night, so you get loads of bonus rounds. Score! And, even on a busy night(which are most nights), getting a drink isn’t too tricky. The bartenders are attentive enough. Just have to get their attention with wave of hand and not a boob shot like in the old days. ;) My husband was so glad he didn’t have to show off his mobs to the female tender — and she was probably even more thrilled(without knowing it). Lol. Good happy hour hang: Friday HH goes all the way from 3−8pm on Fridays; and they also have weekend HHs: Sat from 3 – 8, and $ 3 draughts, wells, and other select shots(e.g., Fireball) all 3 bucks a pop on Sundays! Mucky Duck’s has a pretty decent selection of beers(draught, bottle, and even can). Note: The lady’s room is N.A.S.T.Y. — so try not to «break the seal.» Ew, gross, just so gross. Decent place to catch a cheap drink, but no way I would eat food here. Sorry, thank you.

There is a reason that this place is always packed. The food is amazing, and at happy hour($ 5 apps), it’s second to none in value. I recommend the brisket taters and pretzel dogs bites. You can have any of the salads thrown into a wrap as well(buffalo chicken is great). $ 3 drafts during hh? Can’t beat it!

We usually go there after work. Happy hours are until 8pm on Friday(whoa nelly!!!) And their HH specials are awesome(both food and drinks). They usually have a one or two many band come in and play, but don’t be expecting Simon and Garfunkel(I just aged myself). Whoever they are they are usually entertaining and add to the ambiance. The outdoor area is great, but remember, you are in Addison, where they still allow smoking. But if that’s your thing, then go on and do it! You’ll have a good time either way.

I liked the ambience and the fact that it did not smell like cigarettes. I ordered the trash bucket and loved the concept. Everything tasted good but it was mostly fries. There were only about 3 fried pickles. It was Fat Tuesday so they had gumbo special. It was HORRIBLE! Tasted like they used canned chicken and rice soup mixed with some seasoning. It was all juice. I got a half piece of sausage, yay. The texture of the one tiny size of chicken tasted like the chicken out of a can of soup. If they are going to be that cheap… the least they could to was add more rice. Granted, the little bowl was only $ 2 cash, but good lord… take a little pride in what you cook!

I’m officially getting old now. I was here on a recent Friday night and it was just so loud and crowded I could barely talk to my friends. It wasn’t nessecarily that the crowd made it loud, it was the music that was cranked up. There was a guy singing and playing guitar that was pretty good and his sound level was OK. When he wasn’t playing and they put on the house music it was deafening. Ok, so it’s loud, that’s not too big of a deal if you are OK with that. This is a good but not great bar. It’s in a nice area with limited street parking. There is however a large parking garage you can use located directly behind the bar if the street is full.
