Good for low-key, Friday happy hour or dinner. We enjoyed sitting at the bar and splitting some snacks. Fried pickles were great with thick and spicy crust, as well as the burger. Beer selection is a little hard to understand, as it is not clear what is bottle, can, or tap, the latter you can see on the draw, so I had to ask a lot of questions. Admittedly I am more of a wine drinker. Not too crowded, enough to feel live, quickly get a spot at the bar, and a band played. Nice, casual evening on a date night.

Excellent veggie burger. I have tried most around town and this one ranks very high! Homemade salsa, spinach dip and even chips are made from scratch. All were delicious!

The food was absolute garbage. I ordered from door dash and called the restaurant after the food was delivered incorrectly and the guy I spoke with was unapologetic and basically said he didn’t have time to address me. The tiny bite of grilled chicken was so over peppered it was inedible. My husbands burger was a build your own and most of the toppings he orders(and paid extra for) were missing. Disgusting service and food. We will Never be back. If they had simply made it right they could have avoided the review. Should have looked at the reviews before trying this place. Absolute garbage.

My husband and I stopped in here after visiting an adjacent bar. We were soooo glad we did. Their happy hour is awesome! ½ price on select apps and four dollar glasses of wine which is great for me because I am a wine girl. Our waitress/bartender was Hayla(I think I spelled that right), and she was so awesome! Had great suggestions like the Fried macaroni and cheese balls which were to die for, and you have to have them with the jalapeño ranch dressing. Beers were $ 3 and select shots $ 4. I would be doing the restaurant a disservice if I didn’t mention the wings. They are full wings with the drum attached, seasoned, fried naked, and served with 4 awesome sauces. We will definitely be back for Sunday brunch real soon. Stay tuned for that review!

This place is right next to Mucky Duck, so I knew it was there. It’s clean, and has a really neat patio. The Cajun Pasta we had was delicious! My date wanted a cucumber margarita and they were out of fresh cucumber. when you see how many drinks of theirs require them you’ll understand why she wasn’t happy(half of them). I expected the place to be packed on a Saturday night, but it was dead(very strange for something in the circle, but Mucky Duck was packed! as usual). May return and try something else.

we were disappointed as we saw this place last week when we were in town and wanted to give it a try. we drove in from Allen only to discover it was closed, contrary to what the hours of operation that were displayed in the window and online. This review was written on same day, Saturday between 12 – 12;30P

Good selection of drinks. Mildly upscale but also kind of a sports bar. Food is good, even the veggie burger. Not a lot of people there but could be a great place for a work happy hour or group event because you’d have the run of the place. Décor is trendy and fun. Nice patio.

Very clean, spacious and overall very cool looking I’m new to the area and always wondered why it wasn’t more busy… until I went in. I’m all for supporting local businesses but was sad when everyone was kind of standoff-ish the vibe was wierd and unfriendly. They did have an awesome band however it was honestly one of the best bands I’ve heard and I’m from Austin. Too bad they weren’t interacting with their customers. I really hope they fix this so it can get poppin’ and I can continue to support our local business :)

This bar is clean and well decorated – but looks like it could be located in a hotel. It lacks all personality and so I had a hard time grasping what kind of bar they were trying to be. My friend ordered a cranberry and vodka. What she received was a nearly undrinkable vodka on the rocks with a splash of cranberry. So while this looked like it could be a sweet mixology lounge, I don’t think it is. If you sit with binoculars on the far end of the bar, you can see the other bar, which is across room. The design of the bar made it feel super disconnected. Even though there appeared to be 4+ sizable groups, it didn’t feel busy or very upbeat. After reading the reviews it seems I should come back and try the food. I would visit if I were in the area, but it won’t be a new drink destination for me.

This is a hidden wonder! Their wings are to die for! You really get a whole wing and a lot of it!!! It’s fried to perfection and served with your choice of a dipping sauce! The bartender was very friendly and although I was unable to have an alcoholic beverage, their limes were fresh and refreshing! I’d come back here for a real drink! There fried mac and cheese balls are pretty good. I really enjoyed the crispness of the fried green beans… yummo!

OK, 1st the food is great!!! We went in, didn’t sit at the bar which was a big mistake. After about 10 – 15 minutes I flagged down a server to get a menu who informed us that he was off! but did get us started which was outstanding service!!! One of the young ladies FINALLY came over and took our order… the staff here is very focused on socializing with themselves and the people sitting at the 2 bars, is what I experienced! we gave several hints to Mariah«our server» who was clearly interested in getting back behind the bar to be apart of the festivities… FYI if you want good service Sit at the Bar!!! Sitting anywhere else is at your own risk for good service???

Hidden gem in Addison Circle! Everyone I’ve brought here with me loves it. The interior is beautifully done and very different than anywhere nearby. The food is great! The best wings around! Their gumbo on the weekends is some of the best I’ve had outside of NOLA. I love their lunch menu and specials; makes me wish I lived closer! They have a wide selection of alcohol and bottled beers with local crafts on tap. The signature cocktails are nice if you like fancy drinks, the cucumber refresher is my favorite. Most of the regulars seem more like family and the staff are fun! A must visit if you’re in the circle.

Best place in the circle. Great food, great service. Mariah is the best! Although she did convince me to try a chick drink. It was pretty tasty and reminded me of a cruise somewhere off the coast of Mexico.

Nice place to start or finish an evening. Dog friendly back patio adds a nice touch. Eaten there a couple of times as well and pleasantly surprised.

There has been a big change in staff and I’m really happy to say that this is now a must visit restaurant. The service is quick and the kitchen is now much speedier. Also, thank god it lost the daytime«nightclub» feel that it had when they opened. That’s just not what you want on a Thursday afternoon. We went on valentine’s day and walked out after ordering our first round of champagne, when a DJ started drowning out all possible conversation with bass.(Hint: not on v-day bro, no one was there to dance.) But like I said, that’s gone! The atmosphere is much more upscale and reminiscent of high-end gastros. When you look at the app menu it looks rather generic, but trust the staff when they say that’s it’s far from ordinary. The nachos are individually dressed behemoths(brisket for me). Mac and cheese balls are the best I’ve had. The wings. no tiny drumsticks here! Expect a large portion of full-size wings individually slathered in sauces and full of tender meat. Sunday brunch — $ 1 mimosas, gumbo, «hang-over bowl»

When I first looked up the reviews for this place, I saw 3 stars and not such great reviews, but you can’t go off of someone else’s review, you must go off of your experience and those around you. The things that really made this place 4 stars for ME: the ambience, the waitress and the overall«laid back-ness»(yes I just made that word up LoL) The occasion for my visit was a birthday brunch. I loved how we pretty much had the whole place to ourselves, one long, fun table full of girls! They let us decorate with no problem, be as loud as we could be, which we were and just have a good time. Now, the cool thing about this place, I believe they had a digital jukebox in the back of the restaurant for the customers. We put the Pandora station on Hip Hop/R&B and we jammed the WHOLE time! Now to the yummy part… the FOOD! First off, we sipped on $ 1 mimosas which our waitress kept THOSE coming. They were very refreshing, they just fill you up REALLY fast. I ordered The Spinach Dip to share. It was O-K. We finished it, because we were hungry. I really liked the thickness and crunchiness of the chips. The spinach dip itself, a little bit TOO thick. Great taste, but the consistency wasn’t the best. Definitely not Houston’s. Pretty much 90% of the table ordered The Chicken & Bacon Infused Waffles. I wasn’t in the mood for something that filling, so I went with the Chicken, Sausage & Shrimp Gumbo. I saw a picture on Unilocal!from the Dallas location and it looked pretty good. Our waitress said that it was a good portion size, big bowl, so I went with it. Overall, it was good. Not bad, but good. The HUGE pieces of shrimp and the sausage were the best. I wasn’t a big fan of the chicken, it was a little dry. I tried a bite of the Chicken & Waffles as well. The chicken was extremely under seasoned, but I loved the waffle. Tasted like they used the Bisquick mix, which is my favorite. Tasted homemade. I didn’t taste anything else, but the menu, I loved the selection, the font on the menu was appealing and the drink selection was crazy. I would definitely suggest this place to others who are looking to have a get together or rent it out for a party. It’s fun, it’s ducked off, I had no idea it was where it is. Overall, thumbs up from me!

When I walked in it smelled like urine. I liked the ambiance, sorta modern/contemporary. I got the brunch chicken fried steak and it came with scrambled eggs and biscuits and gravy. The portions are generous and looked very good… unfortunately it was mostly bland and lacked seasoning. The biscuits were a little hard, not very light or fluffy, too dense. The gf had the chicken and bacon waffles. She liked the chicken, and again, the portions are generous. The waffles could have used more bacon(What couldn’t?) We got the mimosas and rum n coke. Drinks were adequately good. The waitress/bartender was very nice and outgoing. I’d prob go back for the drinks only tho.

This is my second trip to Union Park Addison. I work across the street and was looking forward to its opening to give us more options within walking distance. I went for the first time last Thursday and I ordered Fish and Chips… the fish had so much undercooked batter I had to remove a half inch of it to get to the fish. I had so much batter in my carton it was crazy. I gave it another go today… I ordered the Cuban and the Chicken Noodle soup… it should be called Some Chicken and Some Noodle in a soup because this is soup made out of leftovers. Who makes Chicke Noodle soup with Macoroni noodles? That is NOT high end! Check out the picture. Also, my order came up to like $ 8.60…she didn’t even offer me my change back to give her the OPTION to keep it. So far I am very disappointed. They have GOT to do better. For their moto to be High End Beer and Food… serving reconstituted leftovers is NOT high end… nor is half cooked fish. Don’t get a rep right out the gate for serving sub par food. Everyone is at my desk looking at this now shaking their heads especially after the disaster with the fish and chips on Thursday. When I called to speak with a Manager I got Jose, who proceeded to challenge me on my experience like I was wrong. I told him about the soup and he said everyone does their soup differentlt. what else? I told him I did not like my cuban and he said he found it hard to believe because it was the number one selling item. I told him that was fine but MY sandwich was not good. He challenge me and questioned me about it which I was not gonna allow him to do. I told him I will let everyone in my office know that they have poor customer service and he said ok. and I disconnected the call.

Ordered appetizer and two lunch menu items. Everything tasted like some highway truck stop meal. Not worth it. They need to reconsider the menu. Took 30+ mins to get two items ready when the restaurant was empty.

My first impression of Union Park, on a Monday night, was that there must still be some work to do on the building because there was a weird odor throughout the dining room area. Weird smell aside, the owner must have had a nice-sized décor budget because the design and atmosphere was really contemporary, yet inviting. It’s a true sports bar with flat panels everywhere even though it’s a bit cozier than some other sports bars. The place wasn’t packed at all when we arrived so we got plenty of attention. The bartender pulled double duty as our waitress and she was very friendly. I give them an A+ on service. Now for the not so good part. The food was pretty bad. I ordered the small appetizer ribs. I got nine(9) large fatty ribs that were drenched in so much barbecue sauce that I had to scrape it away with a fork before I could even attempt to eat it. After covering myself and about 10 paper napkins in sauce from only 1.5 ribs I threw in the towel and sent it back. It came with coleslaw that was more salad dressing than slaw so it went back as well. I decided to just share my boyfriend’s fries, but the waiter encouraged me to give the food another chance. I gave in and ordered the chicken salad sandwich. Long story short, it tasted like biting into a caramel sandwich. The chicken salad was far too sweet. On the bright side, the ciabatta bun was warm and the perfect texture and the fries were fresh and hot. They did not charge us for the ribs, but only took off 20% for the caramel sandwich disguised as chicken salad. My boyfriend ordered a grilled chicken sandwich. And just like me, he loved the ciabatta, but he removed the sun-dried tomatoes to make the rest of the sandwich enjoyable. If we do return to watch a game I will stay away from the food and only order cocktails or beer. I may try the grilled chicken sandwich and fries, but I’m not willing to give Union Park another chance on any other food items on the menu.
