Cupcakes & Go

Me gusta mucho el sitio y es curioso porque no me gustan los cupcakes pero aun asi tienen variedad de croasanes, tostadas y algunas otras cosas.
Suelen tener ofertas del día o semanales bastante buenas.
Es una buena alternativa para merendar en la alameda!

my american friends know me as a cupcake lover, a cupcake connoisseur, and sometimes, even a cupcake snob. what can i say, i love the little round cake with a dollop of frosting on top!
naturally, when i’m visiting another city and see a bakery or cupcake shoppe, it is my duty to go inside and see what’s on the menu!
the storefront is super cute, with a pink and white awning, words in english too! «CUPCAKES & GO» on top, and «BAKERY — COFFEE» on the front. this is great for someone like me who doesn’t read or speak spanish!
upon entering i was greeted by the friendliest gal, whom i presume is the owner or manager of this shoppe. she spoke a couple words of english and did her best to explain all of their offerings and flavours to me (they even had an oreo cookie cupcake, something that is very american!). they not only offered cupcakes, but they had slices of cake, cookies, croissants, donuts, tea and coffee. most of the patrons appeared to be sipping a hot beverage while they noshed on their baked goods.
after careful consideration of all the flavours that they offered, i settled on the strawberry and pistachio cupcakes. i can’t recall how much they were, but i remember thinking they were pretty reasonable when converted to usd.
the strawberry cupcake was a strawberry cake paired with strawberry frosting, and the pistachio cupcake was a pistachio cake with pistachio frosting, garnished with pistachios. i loved how the former was quite pink and the latter was mostly green… made me think of easter, pink & green!
hubby and i split the cupcakes, and in general, we felt that the cakes were on the drier side and the frostings not as sweet, when compared to the american cupcake. but we definitely tasted the strawberry and pistachio flavours and enjoyed our little treats.
although the cakes were just average, the customer service and ambiance are what made our visit to this café special.

Es el lugar perfecto para comer una merienda nocturna luego de ir al cine

Como muchos ya sabréis soy una enamorada de la reposteria, por eso tarde o temprano iba a acabar aquí. Me encantan los cupcakes y alguna vez hasta me he atrevido a hacerlos yo misma.
Lo primero que te atrae de la tienda, además de sus pasteles es la decoración, por supuesto acorde al producto que venden. Tienen mesitas fuera y dentro, mesitas bastante pequeñas la verdad, pero todo muy bonito.
Me he decidido a probar la oferta de cupcake y café por 2 euros, y lo que me ha gustado es que como yo no bebo café, he podido sustituirlo por otra cosa, así que puedes acompañar tu cupcake de un cacao o una infusión por el mismo precio. Con la oferta he probado el cupcake crocanti y estaba delicioso. Mi amiga ha decidido comprar uno para regalar, te lo ponen en una cajita muy mona que creo que cuesta 50 ctms.
Le he echado un ojo a las tartas y tenían muy buena pinta y la porción rondaba los 2,50 euros, así que otro día seguro me decido a probar alguna.
Sin duda repetiré y acabaré probando todos los de la tienda, pero, ¿Quién puede resistirse?

Esta nueva pastelería chic se va a convertir en un must de Sevilla, estoy segura. Desde verano llevo viendo la transformación del local, pero hasta hoy no me he decidido a entrar para merendar. Y merece muchísimo la pena. Las meriendas son geniales: cupcake + café, dos euros. Y cada día hay dos para elegir.
Los de hoy eran de canela y naranja y de chocolate con almendra crujiente.
Y si no quieres café, pues los precios de las cupcake rondan 1’50−2 € dependiendo de la sofisticación. Hay unos con el símbolo de Facebook ^_​^ también!
También tienen otro tipo de dulces como palmeras, palos de nata y crema, donuts, conos de chocolate rellenos de nata, y un millón de tipos de tarta: sacher, de zanahoria, de queso y arándanos, de frambuesa…
Tienen también desayunos a 1’50 €
El local estaba a reventar. Muchísimos padres con sus niños merendando, otros comprando la merienda para «llevársela puesta» y una chica en la terraza haciendo punto.
