A little bit off the beaten path location does not guarantee an off the beaten path menu. In fact, the 4 dishes they serve are so on the beaten path I am surprised they make ends meet at the end of the month. It’s a burger and a burger and a sandwich and fake meatballs(quinoa). Nudge me when I fall asleep please. Bland does not begin to cover it. Dizzy waiting staff. I called for a reservation and she told me her life story. Reality check — can’t spice the food up with sobbing. Clean décor, all black and white, and pretentious patrons in tracksuits, dogs on the premises, you get the gist. However, they get two stars for the cakes — what a delight! They can be made to order, so I’ll be snapping one for sure. I will also make sure not to return to dine here.

I absolutely loved this place. The food was delicious — and knowing that I was in a vegan restaurant I didn’t have to worry about understanding what was on the menu to know that there’d be no animal cruelty on my plate! I had what turned out to be vegan ‘meatballs’ with a side salad, lemonade(choose with or without sugar), bread, a really nice coconut and lemon«tart»(close to a cheesecake in fact) and coffee. The décor is light and airy, clean, fresh, it’s like being in a cabin by the sea — without the sea! First on my list next time I go to Madrid! And probably even everyday if I can.

Rico rico. Y barato, barato.

Punto vegano is one of the best vegan restaurants in Madrid! Close to Plaza de España, this little spot offers great selections at reasonable prices. The quinoa burger was absolutely delicious and the patatas brava were to die for(garlic aioli is a must). They have vegan meatballs and incredible raviolis! Craft beer in Spain is a rarity, but not here! A few options to choose from makes this restaurant a must visit. The service was excellent and our waitress was extremely friendly. Punto vegano’s atmosphere was just lovely for lunch. A true gem in Madrid. Enjoy!

This is a cool vegan tapasbar, it’s not easy to find, but definitely worth the search. They have loads of original dishes and the prices are good. Yes they are more expensive than the ‘usual’ tapasbar in Madrid, but the tapas are more sophisticated too, and you can still eat for not too much money. The cool things for vegans is of course that you don’t need to worry about anything, because everything on the menu is vegan(yes that includes the chocolate cake!) I really liked that we took the effort to get there. Because we were welcomed by the Spanish love for food, mingled with a love for the planet, humans and animals. Tan ricooooo!
