It is so great to run into this authentic thai restaurant. Totally hits the spot after 10 days of spanish food. We had tge khao soi noodles eith beef and pad see ewe with chicken. Both excellent.

El servicio en este restaurante es tan lento y grosero ! He estado aquí dos veces, la primera vez que fui la camarera se alejó de mí en medio de darme mi pedido y fue a atender a otra mesa. Me pareció que era muy grosero y reaccioné golpeando mi mano sobre la mesa. Usted no hace eso a los clientes. y quise darles una segunda oportunidad porque la comida es buena. Pero después de mi segunda vez allí, tengo que decir que no vamos a volver. El camarero miró su reloj inmediatamente como entramos, y otra vez cuando pedimos postres. Este es un mal servicio al cliente! Y encima el servicio muy lento, el restaurante era increiblemente caliente, sin aire acondicionado y tampoco ventilador. En general, fue una experiencia incómoda, que no repetire.
English; The service here is SO SLOW and rude! I have been here twice. The first time I went the waitress walked away from me in the middle of taking my order and she went to attend to another table. My knee jerk reaction was to slam my hand on the table. You just don’t do that to customers. I wanted to give them a second chance because the food, in all honest, is pretty good. But after the second time there, I am not returning. The second time I went, it was 22:40h (20 minutes before closing). The waiter looked at his watch as if inconvenienced by my patronage. When we ordered desserts he looked at his watch again! And on top of all this, the restaurant was SO HOT and there wasn’t any air conditioning and not even so much as a fan to help the customers with the heat. An overall uncomfortable experience that I don’t plan to repeat.

Nunca había pasado tanto calor en un restaurante como en éste de comida tailandesa, fue algo que unido a lo lento que fué el servicio, (y eso que el lugar es pequeño) hace que mi valoración no sea muy buena. La comida no está mal, y no es caro. Pero que venga el camarero a tomarte la orden corriéndole chorros de sudor por su frente, es muy desagradable. Además, después de acabar de cenar en vista que el chico no venía, ni pasaba por allí, me acerco yo a preguntar que tenían de postre, y el camarero lo primero que hizo fue ver la hora, y estamos hablando que aún no eran las 23:00 (hora que se supone que cierran). Evidentemente estaba más interesado en marcharse que en atender a clientes (supongo no le interesa ganar dinero). Ya había estado en este lugar antes, y hablo que para aquel momento era primavera, y el calor era igual y el servicio que en aquella oportunidad fué una chica, también fué igualmente… lento. Quise darles una 2 oportunidad, pero seguro NO habrá otra.

This is the new sister restaurant of the already infamous Bangkok Café in Les Corts. The menu is more limited, offering starters, salads, soups, noodles & fried rice and curries only. No stir fry meats or veggies. Everything ordered was excellent because the original chef is here! :) am once again a FAN!
***Lately the service is pretty slow here, though, and dishes are served in a random fashion, so just be prepared to wait a little longer than usual… but it’s always worth it!

Hemos estado comiendo al medio día y estaba todo bueno. Le doy 3 estrellas porque el servicio fue MUY lento. El sitio además es pequeño para que tuvieran tanto jaleo. He pedido hielo 2 veces y no me lo han traído, y hacía calor. De la comida, pedimos el menú y la ensalada estaba espectacular pero los fideos con pollo un poco sosos, las porciones podrían ser mejor. Volveré en la noche para probar la carta ya que su hermano mayor, Bangkok Café me encanta.

perfectly good thai food (hard to find) at this «bangkok café» outpost. still has some things to learn from the bigger brother… some growing pains, but to be fair it only just opened. the chicken cocoanut soup was very good. other things too were fine. we’ll be back…
