The stall is apparently recommended by Ch U Yummy King since the posters are plastered all over the store signboard. Always thought this stall has been around for the longest time but since it was voted as one of the best Ngoh Hiong in Singapore, I guess they now have multiple branches but this should be the original one if memory serves me well.
The food is alright. It has its variety and its prawn cracker is quite nice but price wise it is not really very cheap, but that is probably because we usually spend about $ 8 – 9 for 3 persons. The beehoon is not bad, the chilli is ok, but for a ngoh hiong stall, the ngoh hiong is lacklustre. The least impressive part is really the waiting time. We always have to wait 10 – 15 minutes for our food even though there is nobody else in line. That really kills the excitement. But having said that, being the only ngoh hiong stall in Boon Lay, somehow, we still eat there once every fortnight when we crave for a good beehoon and deep fried tofu with century egg topped off with crispy prawn cracker.
