Vons Chicken

I am a huge fan of korean fried chicken and this vONE Chicken flew far from its roost or i mean fryer. This has got to be one of the worse fried chicken I have tasted. I had the signature fried chicken with garlic sauce, a serving of fried chicken and a roasted chicken set too.
The thing that ultimately ruins a simple dish like fried chicken here is sheer overkill, the kitchen’s hope that once you’ve gotten past the idea of variois spice levels of korea chicken you might also enjoy french fries sprinkled and dusted with salt and seaweed powder, and a fried potato with crème de cheese stuffed into it, is too much for a meal.
Witj so much going on, the main dish of chicken is drowned in this overkill… leavinh nothing special to me after tasting both the garlic sauce. The hot sauce tasted the same except for the chilli level… only thing which is constant is the overload of salt and sugar in the seasoning and marinate… overall the chicken tasted like they were fried with oil from the 80s.
The roasted chicken was broiled and braised in the exact sauce as the fried chicken.
Individually these things aren’t quite as bad tasting as they could be, but when all these elements are lumped together into a VON Chicken meal, the whole thing becomes as really bad.
After this experience, I really feel sorry for the chickens and having said That’ hardly rings an endorsement.

This is kind of 4fingers chicken wings. A korean chicken wings i guess? I would said the taste is OK though i will choose 4fingers still.
I had their signature wings garlic and soy sauce, for me taste too sweet maybe next time i should try the hot sauce or even volcanoes.
The good thing is it is located close to my home, not too far from clementi mrt and… No long queue so definitely i will come back to try other taste of other types as i love chicken wings
