I really liked Prawn Star. I had no idea this was a small-plates resto, so when the dishes came, they were tiny-ish. So that took me by surprise. But the yummy food made up for it. The curry mussels were so good — the sauce was phenomenal. The curry had lemongrass which made me slurp it up. The seafood(squid, crabs, prawns) platter was another winner, in my books. Very tasty and well-cooked. The sauce was just insanely good. Overall, a good place to go. However, prices are also on the high side so be warned.

Amazing environment. Delicious comfort food. Located at the ‘hilltop’ of Duxton Hill. Here you can also have some amazing cocktails. I would recommend the King Prawn vermicelli. Sriracha Caramel Popcorn goes well with beer! Full review at

A new seafood restaurant replacing BROTH located at the posh Duxton Hill neighborhood. It might be hidden almost to the end of the shoplot and you if you’re not familiar with Duxton Hill area, you might just missed it. The restaurant is located just opposite L’Entrecôte. The restaurant serves a selection of fresh seafood done«fusion zi char» style with their signature dish like kimchi miso king prawn cooked in claypot as well as wood fired fresh fish(we were lucky to have barramundi) and it was delicious. But the bunch agreed that the king prawn cooked in vermicelli took the overall best dish of the day. Succulent prawn filled with umami flavor, we polished up the dish within minutes. Another main that got us talking was the mussels cooked in curry sauce accompanied with mantous. The owner of the restaurant told us that most if not all the seafood were sourced locally(from nearby market!) that’s why it is very fresh and the price of the food are rather decent and not overly priced. Besides the mains, they also have very interesting appertizer /small plates to start with. One of them is Siracha Popcorn and a few more you have to come and check it out. They have a few selection of cocktails and the one I tried was rather diluted so im not completely happy with it hence minus 1-star from the overall review.(Cocktails must be strong, IMHO). Overall service is ok and there are some glitches here and there but nothing major to complaint about. Will give this restaurant some time to «mature» completely before coming back again to try out more dishes. Worth coming and give it a try if you’re looking for something new in Duxton Hill.
