Best dinner place for couples to go to, or a date. It’s an intimate restaurant, with great decorations and an incredible staff — food is excellent especially the scallops! Spanish cuisine is my favorite, especially tapas, so this was a great find but a little heads up, it’s quite expensive.

A foodie recommended this place and oh boy was she on the money. Every tapas plate we ordered was a hit. We started with the gambas which came in an awesome sauce I could literally drink — it’s like a supercharged prawny broth a la prawn noodle soup. The patatas bravas was very more-ish with its creamy sauce spiced up with hot paprika. The meatballs were lovely — held together but fluffy texture in a beautifully spiced tomato sauce perked up by brandy. I cannot resist octopus and the grilled leg was daintily presented and wonderfully smoky from the grill and tender to the bite. The croquettes were gorgeously creamy. Get the grilled sardines — lots of fiddly little bones but they were grilled so well that it made all the picking apart worth it. Smoky and rich, flaky goodness. A quick tip, order an extra basket of bread to sop up the sauces — you’ll want to lick every single drop of sauce up! Between three of us, we had eight dishes plus a pitcher of sangria and it came up to a very reasonable $ 70 a head. In Singapore, that’s not too much to pay for authentic Spanish tapas and alcohol. Will definitely be back again.

Amazing tapas Enjoyed them fully Had the eggplant, octopus, croquette, prawns, tortillas Also ordered the fideua but that was quite the disappointment Loved their sangria, had three glasses !! Loved ALL the tapas we ordered, it would have been perfect if they were slightly warmer My favourite was the octopus(must try!!!) and the croquettes

This hidden gem is in a very fun part of town. It never seems busy, but deserves more attention. Really the best tapas we have tried anywhere in town. Also do not know why it is rated $$$$, it is really $$-$$$. I hope they bring back the bacon wrapped dates — Five stars if they do.

I came expecting little and walked away thinking when else I can find an excuse to come back. LORDOHMIGHTY — this is possibly one of the best Tapas meal I’ve ever had(NYC, London). Went on a Monday night and was expecting not very many people but the restaurant was almost at full capacity with mostly couples. They had al fresco(or five foot way) dining and we chose that since it was a nice breezy evening. Tremendous and excellent selection of Spanish wines — whites, reds, cavas, dulces, sherrys — I was dizzy with what to go with. If you are a real vino, this place is a real treat for you. It also has an amazing selection of Spanish cheese(Manchego fans — this is your Spanish mecca in Singapore!) We started off with a Jamon(you must!) which literally melted in your mouth. You know it’s well cured when all you taste is the sweetness of the cured meat(an amateur-cured Jamon will leave u with the slight smell of pork). They have 4 Jamons on the menu — ask the server for recommendations. I had a Chuletillas de Cordero(lamb chops) which is moist and soft. It was accompanied by Spinach and Chickpeas. Chickpeas were tender and creamy(how do you do that!) but spinach was a bit skimpy so if you are looking forward to Spinach you may want to make a request to the kitchen for more. The Sardinas en Aceite de Oliva was also well done! Sardines didn’t smell fishy at all(my friend was worried about that) and was succulent. And IF you like garlic, this is a wonderful dish as the masculinity of the garlic was brought forward very nicely by the sardines. Also had the Pulpo a la Gallega(octopus) — nicely laid out; once again, while its properly tender and soft(not chewy which is great), I had to work very hard at finding the natural flavour of the octopus. It’s probably my least favourite dish. Will come back again. It’s casually elegant and not pretentious at all. I also love the intimacy of the place. Pricey but absolutely worth the indulgence. Hands down my favorite tapas place in the world!

Great little place on the busy Club Street stretch. They serve yummy & original tapas food until latish, even on week days, with a nice booze selection to go with. Perfect therapy after a bad day in the office!
