The Orange Lantern

I’ve been here three times and each time, I want to slap myself in the face. Or punch myself in the face, square on. The Orange Lantern is simply nasty. This location is far worse than the one in Somerset. There are flies everywhere!
Do NOT order the phở. It lacks flavor and depth – plus, I’m pretty sure it’s watered down. The rice dishes aren’t bad, but not something I’ll be craving. Plus, they don’t even use broken rice! Spring rolls, egg rolls, and summer rolls are a so-​so. The imperial roll – if they fried it fresh – can be pretty good. If you’re a Nam Nam fan (which on a scale of 1 – 10 with 10 being the best, is a 5 in my book) than stick with Nam Nam. In fact, I BEG you stick with Nam Nam!
The only positive thing I can say about the Orange Lantern is that the avocado shake is pretty good, nice and thick. Other than that, stay away! The Viet coffee tasted nasty too! That’s when you know a Viet place AIN’T Viet!
