Phở on this restaurant is average. It’s probably tasty for most, but not authentic Vietnamese flavor. I find to too sweet. But I was desperate for a bowl of hot soupy phở … So it was still satisfying nevertheless. I tried it before year’s ago, nothing seem to change. Like a place that sustained the chance of time in Cbd area. I would like it to have Seracha chillies sauce. Slightly disappointed …

Craving for some Vietnamese food and chanced upon this. The servers here are not friendly and the food is average. The signature Beef Phở and Chicken Phở soup is too sweet for our palate. Usually we finished every bit of the phở soup but not this. Price is reasonable though. Don’t think I’ll come back. Sad though because they’ve got a good location.

Tastes like phở from saigon. Cheap and delicious. The broth did have a sweet tang to it though.

Phở Tai — The soup base was sweet and lacked in flavor. It looked and tasted like a phở ga soup base. I had to dump in a lot of chili sauce, which is typically used for bun bo hue, to bring out flavor. The low grade beef quality turned chewy not too long after I received my order. Came with flat rice noodles, and I typically like the thinner ones. Imperial rolls — Not bad, but nothing special Room for improvement: — Have siracha available — Serve bean sprouts on the side — Ensure your credit card machine works if credit card merchants are advertised on your door

Came to Phở 99 for lunch, and it was pretty good. Spring rolls were tasty but dipping sauce lacked flavor. Phở was good and noodles weren’t broken up or soggy. Space was really crowded and hot. Not a lot of menu options beyond phở and spring rolls. Great to get your phở fix but zero ambience or sense of «freshness» that makes Vietnamese food so appealing. Still looking for that Vietnamese joint that’s as good as the homeland.

Phở 99 was delicious with fast service, impeccable Vietnamese flavors and it’s all at a great value. We had Phở Tai, Phở Bo and the mixed spring roll plate accompanied by the best Vietnamese iced coffee I have ever had and a refreshing tiger beer. Phở 99 is located across from a popular hawker center yet the Resturant was totally packed showing how good it was.

Phở is such a simple dish but when it is done well it is delightful. A good bowl of phở is what awaits you at this simple Vietnamese restaurant. Our party had both beef and chicken and thought they were wonderful. Be sure to add in the chili and basil condiments on the table for the complete experience. Even though the phở is pretty big be sure to order the fresh spring rolls to complete the meal. They are the best I’ve had.

This is a review of a lunch with a colleague at PHO Vietnamese Delights. It is located in the lineup of shop houses on Amoy Street. We had a meeting in area. After some discussion, we decided to go for Phở at Phở Vietnamese Delights. Another co-worker gave it props. It was pretty busy. There was a queue. Because there were only two of us, they ushered us in and sat us down at a makeshift table. We were cozily sharing a four-top with a couple of women. I am not sure they were overly pleased to have a huge American sat down at their slightly cramped table. But, we all made do. The ambiance is crowded and a bit jumbled. But, we were there for the Phở. The staff is proficient. However, do not expect them to ask how your day is or may small-talk. But, then again, we were there for the Phở. I had been feeling a bit under the weather for a stretch. Phở sounded just like the thing I needed. Almost immediately, our order was taken. Before you could say Humpty Dumptyy, the food was out. Cripsy Spring Roll — This is just what a crispy spring roll should be. Nothing more, nothing less. Crispy on the outside, tender fresh ingredients on the insude. Spot-on! PHO — Maybe this isn’t the best Phở in the world. Maybe it certainly doesn’t stack up head to head with a Phở in Hanoi. Did I mention that we weren’t in Hanoi? But that doesn’t mean it wasn’t a pretty darn good Phở. It hit the spot. Like the spring roll, it was very much what I expect in the dish. There was a hearty broth, tasty meat, well cooked noodles, and other fresh ingredients. My colleague thought the same. . Overall — This is a speedy 100% no frills lunch featuring a pretty good Phở. If I was in the area, I wouldn’t have any issue popping in for another bowl of noodle soup. I would even walk a few blocks to get it.
