Another awesome store for quirky Singapore souvenirs, though tourists aren’t really their demographic. They’re located within SOTA (School of the Arts) in between Dhoby Ghaut and Bras Basah MRT.
You can find a mix of greeting cards, toys, books, jewelry, and clothing here. You could say it’s unisex, but I personally think they lean more feminine. I even saw a small section dedicated to dogs– what I thought were baby clothes were really puppy clothes and accessories!
My favourites for this visit were the «Hug A Porcupine» brand. The store carries their Origami line, which are these necklaces with animals designed origami-​style. They had pugs, owls, and rabbits– if only they had a moose!
If you’re looking for a snack after your visit, their next door neighbour Kki is perfect– beautiful cakes in a cosy Japanese environment.

Cute shop full of Singapore-​inspired knickknacks. I’ve been here many times, if only just to ogle.
Love their «Quirky Singapore» series of bags and badges and tshirts (with taglines like «Steady Pom Pi Pi», «Stylo Milo», «Kancheong Spider» and other variations of Singaporean lingo presented as unique, eye-​catching logos). They have another series based on the playgrounds of yesteryear (badges, pillows and tote bags in this collection), and another based on local food items (durians, tutu cakes, ice kachang etc…). Check out their website/​online shop for a better idea of what they have to offer!
Great gifts for the Singaporean, and for the tourist who is looking for something more than those corny T-​shirts you see in Chinatown.
