Came here to buy tea sometime back. They have a wonderful range and the staff there are more than willing to explain to you the different types of tea to be paired with the different types of teapots and tea cups. Today a friend invited me there for tea. It was a very pleasant experience. There were a lot of foreigners there — guess they got themselves on the tourist map, and for good reason too. You can experience good tea, and some bites if you want. We ordered the«peach» buns(lotus paste buns) and the custard lava bun. Nothing to shout about, it was more just to have something to bite. They would guide you with the tea making if necessary — was not necessary in my case as my friend rather expertly handled it :) Quite place for a great cuppa tea :)

Great place if you want to soak in traditional tea time and cut yourself off from the buzz of this busy city. Sure we walked in and were looked up and down by all the staff and people in there as we were the only non-Asian but this only reassured us as to the idea that it was not a tourist hotspot. We were greeted by a nice man who took us up to our floor table and introduced us to the art of tea. We decided on a floral one and with hint of Jasmine and mint, it was perfect for a relaxed afternoon time. We were offered sugar peanuts and were told on the proper way to serve and enjoy your tea with patience and knowledge. We really had a nice time and would highly recommend this place,

It’s a great place where we had special tea ceremony by very friendly tea specialist. She gave us valuable tips how to prepare different teas. We also enjoyed yummy dishes such as sweet potato, bao etc. We were surprised to know queen Elisabeth of England was once there with her husband. Ambiance was very good and quiet. We strongly recommend Tea Chapter.

This is a nice shop run by an older woman and man in Chinatown. The architecture and interior design are quite appealing for tea. Adjacent to the shop, there is a nice looking tea room, although I have not paid it a visit yet(this review is for the store itself). The woman who runs the shop was friendly, talkative, and helpful in surveying the selection. She also served me a free sample of one of the teas. Teas are sold in 50g and 100g increments. They come in nice printed tins with individually wrapped 50g plastic bags of loose tea inside. The prices are on the high side, even for high quality teas they have. That said, they have some very nice quality teas. This is especially the case if you’re fond of oolong and pu-erh. They have several varieties of each, whereas those tea types tend to be limited afterthoughts in my prior experience at other tea shops. I recommend the Taiwan Hong Shii Oolong as one of my favorites carried in this shop. I look forward to visiting again so I can check out the tea room adjacent to the shop.

Nice ambience with 3 floors occupying. There is the Chinese, Japanese and Korean style of seats for you to enjoy your tea. There have been quite a number of foreigners who visits the place as well. Minimum expenditure per person is $ 8 and ideally 3 or more persons visiting could get you a good pot of worthwhile tea. Service is excellent and there is a tea master of sorts demonstrating how to make a good pot of tea and explaining the various teas and its benefits. The master will also teach you the formality and manners of tea making/pouring. Enjoy coming here to chat all day with friends or just read a book by yourself, or simply soak into the tea culture.

Ambience of the place is good with authentic chinese setting. Staff are also mostly chinese and have very polite service. We were given a space of our own. It was a place where one is required to sit on the ground with no chairs, just the floor and the low table. The staff kindly offered to give us a brief introduction to the preparation of tea and how to appreciate the tea. There are quite a variety of teas to choose from and the whole experience was a very novel and interesting one. The flower tea are a must try.
