Switch is under the timbre group and it’s located at the NTUC income building. The best thing about this place is the live band that will start roughly 8pm and you are able to request songs and such. Food wise is amazing. The duck pizza is a must try here. Recommended for everyone.

Oh how can I not leave a review at this place yet! Switch is one of my favorite hangout with my girlfriends, for its live band, truffles fries, duck pizza, buffalo wings, beer and vibrant environment! Switch is the sister company of Timbre, and offers English and Mandarin pop music. Reservations are recommended on weekends, if not gotta queue and wait for long outside the place. UOB is cure net offering priority queue for those who did not reserve in advance, but based on experience, the wait is about the same as the normal queue. So don’t bother, just remember to reserve at their website before deciding to head over! As mentioned, we love the truffles fries, buffalo wings and duck pizza there! We never fail to order these 3 items whenever we are at Switch. The service staff are always efficient and friendly, ensuring everyone has sufficient space, and delivering food and drinks to feed to hungry stomach. I love the band, Switch Gang on Fridays, and always Tay Kexin who sings on Mondays and Thursdays! One thing about pubs with live band, I always believe real good singers won’t stay for long in a pub as resident singers as they tend to move on and sign on record companies and make music in the mainstream music industry.

If you’re a fan of Timbre and you like both English & Mandarin songs, you’ll like Switch. Work takes me to Bras Basah often times in a week so I thought it fit to check this place out at least once. I don’t understand Mandarin or any dialect much but I liked the atmosphere and the music. It looks small from outside, but I was told there are over 300 seats, great for a corporate function might I add. There are live bilingual, soft rock performances every night and the food is typical of what Timbre serves best; pizzas and tapas. Facing the Singapore Art Museum, the place is really easy to get to from Bras Basah MRT Station. Take exit A and once you reach ground level, it’s on your right.

Switch is part of the Timbre group, fairly new and caters a mix of mandopop and english live acts. Perhaps it’s its odd location next to NTUC Income House or that it’s rather new, but it doesn’t usually get as packed as the other Timbre outlets. The food is pretty similar to Timbre’s as well so you know the pizzas and the chicken wings are good stuff. All its orders go through a fancy iPad system, but the wait staff is happy to help you figure it out if it’s just too mindboggling for you.
