The wooden tables are nice for outdoor seating in the court area. There is a large screen TV, which was playing a soccer match when I visited. Hawker stalls surround the area where food can be purchased. The satay sticks were pretty good. This is more of a touristy place, so you get a mix of different kinds of people socializing. The drinks are a bit expensive, but they are half price during happy hours. The nearest bathroom is awkwardly located inside what appears to be a night club across the street. You have to go inside and then to the left and down some stairs to get there.

The one and only time I went to St James… well, let’s just say it has put me off from going back. Firstly, the crowd. It’s quite rowdy and the place looks sleazy at some parts. Boiler Room has awesome live music. but other than that. I find the place quite boring… maybe the crowd is not to my preference. If you ask me, I would prefer to go to other clubs instead of coming back here.
