1st time I tried dry bak kut teh and I’d say that I like it better than the regular 1 — it’s tastier than the soupy bak kut teh, the fried cuttlefish + okra works very well by giving a crunchy, crispy texture to the dish which work great with piping hot rice. Get the braised tau kee whenever you go there too — it’s crispy tofu skin braised with a little bit of sauce.

Started by an ex-offender to provide jobs to other ex-offenders. The bkt is a cross between our local Singaporean version and the Malaysian version. So they offer quite a few dry dishes and not just the traditional soup dishes. My favorite thing there is the dried beancurd skin in claypot. It is ok. I would go there if I live nearby but nothing to write home about.
