Roll Up is an indian kebab place that hits all the right notes. They were rather generous and let us try a couple of items. 1) mutton wrap with masala fries. Oh wow. I liked the mutton — very flavorful! It had a spicy ending note which surprised me. It felt a bit like a salami because the mutton was rolled up. That’s not to say it wasn’t tasty cos it certainly was! The fiery masala fries were massively addictive. I couldn’t stop reaching for them. 2) Pepper Chicken Tikka — now, my absolute FAVE of the night. It was very flavorful and not dry at all. It’s likely to do with the fact that their meats are all smoked on a charcoal fried tandoor. Now, that is one of sealing the juices in so the meats are well cooked both in and out, and still retaining its natural flavors. Just beware. It is spicy but I love it. 3) fish tikka — another dish I enjoyed. Fish rubbed with spices. What more can I say? Get it. 4) achari chicken — it wasn’t bad at all; in fact, it was good too, but just wasn’t outstanding. I think its spicier cousins took centerstage. Perfect for those who don’t like their chicken too stinging. And on to their beers. There will be the urge to get the Fucking Hell beer.(Yes it’s a place in Germany). Cos of its name. Whilst good, resist it and get the awesome IPA. Honestly, I think I would go back JUST for the IPA. Hahahahaha With friendly staff, there’s little to dislike about Roll Up. Its prices aren’t the cheapest around, but I think it makes up for the fantastic food.

Had a fish kebab roll at Roll up, and it was delicious. The fish was great, and the fries were nicely done. Seasoning was a little heavy for my tastes, but my friends liked it. Portions are large for the prices.

If you like your spices, Rollup has great wraps with masala fries(!) for $ 11-$ 14. We shared the fish tikka wrap and were wonderfully surprised by the huge piece of fish, the 2 sauces that accompanied it(a mint chutney and a spicey tomato). The masala fries were also very good(and spicy) and definitely worth the additional $ 3 top-up(with drink included). Great presentation and very nice service. You can get a wrap, drink, and fries for $ 11-$ 14, which is a great deal. They also have combo deals with beer. On tap, they had an interesting Norwegian beer. If you’re walking around on a weekend night, looking for a good place to eat that’s relatively inexpensive before heading to a bar, this is worth checking out.
