It may be surprising but the food here is EXCELLENT. I really enjoy the tacos which are tasty and good value. There is a wide variety of alcohol available, be it if you’re a beer enthusiast or a cocktail lover, I’m sure there’s something that’ll suit you. I belong to the latter and the cocktails are so tasty, it’s hard to stop at one. This place is great for after work drinks with friends AND you get good quality food too(since I don’t work in the CBD else I’d pop by for lunch).

There are a lot craft beer places poping up in Singapore. I decided to check out draft and craft on a whim. It was not very good. Service was poor. Music was abnoxious. Beer is expensive(even for craft). You have to pay up front or keep a tab. Food might be good, but wasn’t eating. Don’t recommend it.

This seems to be a genuinely good place on a street that other seems to hold some less nice establishments(or perhaps it depends on what one is looking for). The locations is very good for those who work in the CBD so would assume it gets packed by people grabbing beer after work. As the name suggest they do offer some craft beer. The selection is really nice and most people should be able to find some beer they like here. The feel of the place reminds me more of what I am used to finding in San Diego than in Singapore. Service is also really friendly, almost laid-back but yet they manage to be on top of things. I also like that they are both friendly and knowledgeable about the beers, no problem to ask questions and get spot on recommendations based on descriptions of what preferences one may have. The food is American and Mexican inspired. I just sampled the grilled cheese sandwich and it was good for what it was. They do a generous happy hour in terms of time(until 9pm) but the prices are not that much better than usual but they do occasional promotions like for example the 7SGD Tuesday’s(for half a pint) which is a good way to sample all their beers. Perhaps not the place I will come for the food but I do enjoy going here for a beer(which often ends up being two, three or more due to the great selection of craft beer that I want to sample).

Love the selection of beer on tap and in bottles. Hard to find many of the brews elsewhere on the island. They have convenient seating for groups of up to 8 or 10 so I find myself here with the guys from the office on a few occasions. Last time I had a Delirium Tremens Belgian Pale Ale, a fantastic brew coupled with a grilled cheese sandwich. I’ll go back any day of the week for the grilled cheese sandwich. It’s DELICIOUS and comes with a hefty portion of fries topped with melted cheese and a side salad. Man, makes me want to go back there just writing this. Oh yeah, they also have beer pong in the evenings, so there’s that. Fun for the whole family.

Nice little craft brew bar with a SoCal feel to it in Singapore. Good beer selection and some nice food to compliment it. Although there was a private party inside, the wait staff was very attentive and took good care of me while seated outside. With some classic Springsteen blasting over the speakers, for a moment I felt like I was back in San Diego.

Easy, quick, efficient, tasty — great pre Boat Quay or Club street stop for a different beer and some grub. Great service with friendly attitudes and super quick — enjoy!

I came here a few times on a week long visit from the States. And during that week, Draft and Craft really wowed me with their food, their cocktails and their beer. For the food, I tried the grilled cheese, which was gooey and melty with a crispy and buttery outside. The bread was the thick Texas toast kind, not the thin kind that gets pressed into a cracker when making grilled cheese. This sandwich was not a bad companion to a cold brew. Not bad at all. I also tried their fish tacos. Having eaten fish tacos for several years in the mecca of fish tacos(San Diego), I have to say that Draft and Craft’s fish tacos were maybe the best that I’ve tasted. The fish was brined well and perfectly battered and fried. The sauce, a tart and creamy mayonnaise based dressing, was made fresh in house and complemented the briny and crispy fish perfectly. Very, very tasty. Compliments to the chef. The cocktails were innovative and tasty and will knock you on your ass hella fast. Ask for the one with cucumber juice and elderberry flower liquor. All the juices as fresh squeezed, so you really can’t go wrong. I also seem to remember cocktails with egg white foam on top, but it’s all getting a bit blurry for some reason. The beer here is pretty good too. Pretty good in that it’s the type of beer you find at serious beer pubs in the States. The type that comes out of the tap at the perfect temperature. The type that comes from places called Rogue or Stone or Dogfishhead or somewhere you’ve never heard of but makes damn good beer. Anyway, if you’re craving a nut brown or IPA or porter or saison check this place out.

You can find VERYVERY awesome grilled cheese and tacos, authentic and addictive! I was introduced to this place thanks to Unilocal!Brought my friends over again, and all enjoyed too! We ordered The American(grilled cheese with zomg sweet bacon and melt-like-hell-cheese), Chicken and Avocado Taco, Steak Taco and Chips and Salsa. OVERKILL for 3… Can’t go wrong with The American and Steak Taco. Prices for lunch menu(serving same stuff) is cheaper than dinner.(haven’t been for lunch and I wondered why. Because the serving is smaller?) We also tried to Summer Solstice with the recommendation of fellow Unilocaler Debbie T. We totally enjoyed it and dinner at D&C is just a nailed it for mid week! Feeling full since 8pm… Till 11.30pm… We also find ourselves surrounded by interesting interior design and interesting craft beers. Will be back again to try the craft beers, as midweek is not a good day to drink this time round. Took a star off as the taco shell seemed a bit inconsistent. It was slightly harder and crunchier my first visit there.

I LOVE this place! The décor is amazing – very modern hipster. The best part is the vibe of the bar, welcoming and not at all pretentious. Come by in shorts or a three piece suit – you wont feel out of place! The music is also great! My favorite food on the menu is the American grilled cheese sandwich. That bacon + marmalade + sharp cheddar concoction fulfills my sweet-salty fantasies! The steak tacos are also delicious! The steak is marinated in house and are nice, good cuts. No fatty cheap meat here! I definitely recommend ordering the tacos with guacamole for that Southern Californian experience. Unfortunately, the sandwiches are paired with fries. Meh – only bc the tortillas are amazing… Tortillas rockpaperscissors fries any day! D&C fries the tortillas fresh in house in quality oil – none of that cheap stuff found in hawker centers. Needless to say, the homemade salsa really hits the spot. They also have re-fried beans for that true Californian experience… yum! Too full for food? Come in for drinks! Happy Hour runs until 9:00PM daily. The cocktails are fab(definitely recommend the Summer Day) and the beer is definitely worth the visit. In addition to crafted beer on draft, they have bottled beer sourced from small, boutique brewers in the US. Speak to Deron(the owner) for a good beer recommendation and consult with Keira(the big lady boss) for a good cocktail, wine, and/or food. And, now for the con: They are closed on Sundays. Boo.
