So listen. This is some pretty dang tasty middle-​east food all be it a bit pricey. But, you know they had this thing called «baba ghanoush» on the menu. It was very much NOT baba ghanoush. What came was some weird chopped eggplant that was soggy and odd. They had something else on the menu called Motabu or I don’t know what. Some how THAT was baba ghanoush for realz. We tried to explain it to them that the menu was wrong. They argued back graciously. I get that I won’t get accuracy when traveling abroad. but it was pretty much like ordering pizza and getting lasagna.
