Sole Relax

My feet and legs were sore from teaching dance all week and I needed a foot massage really badly. Saw the sign for Sole Relax on the street and decided to walk in. They had just opened and were doing some deals. I opted on getting a 60 minutes foot reflexology. The massage was amazing! The reflexologist also worked on my calf muscles and IT band because he knew I was tied up in knots there. I try to go get my foot massage here every week and I’ve also had a back massage as well. This place is also pretty relaxing with a spa-​like atmosphere for a no-​frills massage place.

I bought a Groupon for 60 minutes foot reflexology. At the start, I was asked to wash and dry my feet myself which I thought was quite odd — I would think foot washing/​scrubbing should be a service included, no? Anyway the massage itself was amazing, would highly recommend.
What, to me, was a turn-​off was the intense hard-​selling after the foot reflexology session was over. Perhaps because I used a Groupon, they wanted to «recoup» their losses by getting the Groupon customers to buy packages. If so, this was NOT a good tactic at all because I felt turned off by it and from then on, even when I wanted a foot reflexology massage, I was completely deterred by the thought of facing potential hard-​selling after my massage.
