The only reason why it has survived till now is mainly due to its convenience. Other than that, a mediocre place serving mediocre food. I hope it goes soon to make way for something better.

Men Men Don Don is a chain Japanese restaurant, almost a fast food joint, on the 1st floor of West Mall that serves noodles(men) and rice bowls(donburi), plus a selection of prepacked sushi. It’s a small shop with limited seating, so we only do takeaways. They pack the toppings and rice/noodles nicely separately, so they don’t get mushy or soggy before eating. We have tried teriyaki chicken, oyako don, and beef don so far, and I have no interest in trying the sushi there as they don’t look appetizing at all. Beef don was too salty, but the teriyaki chicken and oyako don were good enough. Most dishes are about $ 7 each, and the food is passable for the price, certainly better tasting and fresher than what you find in the food courts. SUM: convenient for take aways.
