Singtel Hello Shop

Both my family and I have been loyal customers to Singtel for about 10 years now, with our land lines, cell phones and even office phones all connected by this telco giant. Recently one of our phone contracts was due for a renewal, so we went in looking for a suitable replacement phone for my somewhat IT-​silly dad. The first encounter we had left an extremely bitter impression where a young man was helping us with a specific problem we had with the phone that we had purchased earlier. After fiddling about with the phone set, he dropped it back into our hands with a prompt ‘I have no idea how to do this either’. We weren’t really sure how we were supposed to react, and almost left the store with our phone in a mess from the few changes he did manage to make to it.
Fortunately, a young lady called Joey saw our distress and stepped over to help with the follow-​up service after very kindly helping us with the contract renewal earlier, despite it not being in her job scope to do so. All in all, Singtel has been a great service provider for our phone needs, but they were lucky that they did have good staff like Joey to provide the information and sincere service that older folks need in the western heartlands of Bukit Batok to make the experience a positive one!
