Ramen Play Jem

My friend and I were counting how many stores which has ramen in the menu and we calculated about 7 just in the Westgate and JEM area. While deciding what to eat, I remembered what my friend brought up the day before about this place. Yes, both me and the same friend had been to JEM and Westgate area in two consecutive days. And yes, we are kind of meh but since we were doing last minute shopping for Christmas goodies, we decided to venture to restaurants that we have yet been and finally we are at Ramen Play after getting confused of its location (JEM/​Westgate).
Looked over the menu at the front of the store before deciding whether there is something specific to eat. I was in between my thoughts of three dishes. One is from the couple set (curry ramen), then Pork Yakiniku Ramen and Butariki Ishinabe. But in the end, I decided to eat Sanpou Tonkotsu Ramen (pork cheek) and Ramenplay Crispy Dango.
The food were served pretty quickly and I tried the soup base first before eating the bowl of Sanpou Tonkotsu Ramen. It was flavorful and clear based soup. I also tried my friend’s miso soup and I think that my Tonkotsu soup was way tastier than hers. She agreed on this too. We then tried our ramen. Her ramen tasted like egg noodle ramen and mine is Hakata ramen (soft, thin-​sliced and chewy). The pork cheek was tender and gave quite a bursting flavor in the mouth. My indecisiveness turned out to be one of the best ramen I’ve tried in Singapore.
For the dango, I was expecting it to be chewy like mochi. It was actually a deep fried meatball and it was al-​right.
The Yuzu drink you can select alcoholic or non-​alcoholic and I chose the latter one as I still wanted to shop around the malls. Service here was good too. Price wise it was on the affordable side. If you are in this area, try the dish I recommended :)

The broth’s superb! The meat was tender and the noodle al dente. I’m really impressed and certainly would recommend everyone try it out. Service at this outlet wasnt bad even though they are short handed.
