This bakery has been at SGH for quite some time now. It’s Halal certified. Another nearby bakery in this hospital is Bengawan Solo. I personally prefer Mayson’s pastries more than those at the latter. They’re cooked to perfection in my opinion. My favourite are their mini chicken pies, cheese egg tarts and chocolate eclairs.
Other than pastries and breads, they also sell whole cream cakes; small and big ones. They’re always of basic fresh cream designs. Don’t expect your fancy, flowery or fondant designed cakes here. So far whatever cakes or pastries I’ve tried here were nice. At times, I just grabbed those pies instead of a packed rice or noodles from nearby eateries for a filling lunch.
