Laundry Refresh

Solid dry Cleaning service located inside Katong V.
What stands out most about this dry cleaning service is the super kind, helpful and talkative lady manning the counter. The cost to dry clean my trousers was $ 5.50/a piece with a 5 – 6 day turnaround time. Loyal customer base, particularly expats in the neighboring apartment complexes along East Coast Parkway /​East Coast Road /​Mountbatten Rd.

Writing this review forces me to compare it to iWash at I12, and here’s what I’ve discovered:
1) The price to dry clean trousers are currently the same at each place, $ 5.50 each as of June 2015.
2) For dresses, it appears Laundry Refresh charges a flat fee of $ 10. iWash can be cheaper, depending on your style of dress (if it has sequins it costs more) but the range is from $ 8.50 — $ 12.
3) Turnaround time is about the same for both places, 5 business days.
4) iWash offers free pickup and delivery if your bill is over $ 50; it doesn’t appear that Laundry Refresh does this.
I must say, the lady here at Laundry Refresh is quite friendly, always up for small talk and offering to SMS me if my items come in earlier. She also says I’m more than welcome to call before I come in to pick up, to make sure she doesn’t go on break during that time. This proactive service is much appreciated in (sometimes) apathetic Singapore, so an extra star it is!
