This is a pretty straightforward dry cleaning spot in the basement of I12 Katong. You’ll find them in the corner opposite QB house and right next to Jason’s Supermarket. It’s a convenient location as there’s an AXS machine nearby to pay bills, along with an OCBC and DBS ATM.
Turnaround time is pretty typical of Singapore; my 3 items (2 dresses, 1 pair of trousers) took about 6 days for dry cleaning. They can also do free pickup and delivery if you have a minimum order of $ 50. I noticed they even have special pricing for items like sarees… nice.
The auntie that runs the stand is very sweet; if you catch her napping when you arrive just say a friendly «Hello!» and she will awaken and gladly help you. :) I can’t help but feel for her, as 1) that area of the basement is like an ice box, she wears a jacket all the time and says she’s freezing, and 2) she sits across the ridiculously fluorescent bright QB House… perhaps I should give her some Unilocal sunnies to combat those bright lights!

Brought three items for dry cleaning — some winter coat thing, a sequinned dress and a cashmere scarf. Items aren’t cleaned on the spot, but are arranged to be picked up and brought to another laundry facility before being returned. The auntie at the counter was friendly and fun, and showed me the price list before reassuring me that she’d instruct the cleaners to take special care of the dress and scarf. Under the order chit, she wrote «Please be gentle with dress and scarf (fragile).» before showing it to me. That was rather amusing, and I LOL-​ed at her kind gesture. In total, three items cost about $ 30+ and I was asked to pick it up four working days later. Post pickup, the items smelt pretty great, and from what I could see, no damage rendered so all’s good.
