The food is good. We had cold udon and tempura and it compared well to what we would get in Japan. It is a bit pricy for Singapore. The main concern is that the service is a bit slow.

This is Dual restaurant — itacho sushi and jika udon in the same place! IMO, both are good, but I know more about udon than sushi so I’ll comment on the udon. Had the udon beef curry today — gd stuff, decent texture of udon(feel like it was a bit better last time, but still good this time), yummy curry and the sliced beef was delicious. Not a very large portion though, but reasonable esp for the $ 13 price tag! I’ve also had the«Udon with Chicken and hot spring egg w sesame sauce» before which is a specialty of theirs and REALLY nice(have it cold! Cold udon sounded strange to me but man it was good). I think it’s slightly small to be a full meal by itself, but it complements a sushi meal very well, and at $ 9.90 it’s totally worth it. Been here twice already with my girlfriend and I think we’ll be back again. Works quite well for us cuz I love udon and she’s a big fan of sushi :)

This is yet another restaurant in JCube that we visited. And sadly, this restaurant just adds to the list of disappointing restaurants in JCube. First of all, we found that the service was really slow; we waited for a long time for our food. I ordered the seafood udon, but the first thing that I found was that it wasn’t served piping hot. Taste-wise, it was quite okay, but the food temperature left things to be desired. We also ordered a variety of stuff, including sushi, salmon roll, wasabi abalone, spicy salmon, lobster salad and so on. We found that almost everything was mediocre and with small portions, save for the lobster salad which was quite okay. Overall, I think the meal here turned out to be disappointing in terms of both quality and quantity. I guess that sums up my general perception about JCube restaurants: eat at the fast food restaurants if you must, but not the«proper» restaurants here.
