Surprisingly limited choice of egg dishes(by that, I mean 5 — and all of the poached variety unless you specifically ask for something else) for a joint that goes deceptively by the name Eggs & Berries. Lazy day made lazier with lethargic staff who looked like they needed either an extra long shot of coffee or their phones taken away from them. Also, for a menu that’s so diversified(pasta, wings, fries, soup, burgers), I was surprised when they told me they didn’t have any other types of meat to replace the honey baked ham they’d run out of.

Looking for a brunch place in the east? There is a good one in Changi city point, located ext to Expo MRT. My choice for a lovely brunch with family and friends. Good food with good company. I love the green mountain bee smoothie. Deserved many thumbs up. Its light, not overly sweet and smooth. Perfect companion for a meal. Runny eggs is a must have for any eggs bennedict. It passed my egg test and exceed my expectation for the bacon. Well… anything with bacon can’t go wrong! The ommette was good too! A nice brunch experience!

Sweet décor, decent service and pleasant breakfast. All in all a good experience, I only had an omelette and juice and would like to return to try the more indulgent sweet items in the menu like waffles and pancakes!

Tried to eat here twice today. First time, very short line, but host turned everyone away, saying that the wait would be over half an hour(no option for reservation). few hours later, we stopped by thinking of going for lunch. Now, very long line with most tables empty and very understaffed. Management fails, can’t recommend.

This is a review of a lunch with a colleague at Eggs & Berries in Changi City Point Mall. If my colleague had not enjoyed his meal, this would be a one star review. Based on some comments at work, I actually went in with relatively high hopes. The restaurant is clean and neat. It looks a little like something from a Barbie play-kit but I can’t really hold that against them. The staff was friendly but the overall service was slow. I found the food to be borderline inedible. It was simply not very well prepared. Eggs with Venison Sausage — The eggs were tasteless. The sauce was also very bland and very soft on the inside. The hash-browns were cold and mushy. The pancakes were quite cold also. The menu didn’t state that these were silver dollar pancakes. I did not find any single aspect of the food to be enjoyable. My colleague had the salmon plate and enjoyed it. The orange juice was quite good. But, at $ 6.50, it should be. Receipt(Lunch for Two): $ 50.40 — This was basically $ 25 each for breakfast plates. Overall — I guess you can tell where this is going. I simply did not enjoy the food. In my opinion, there is much better food very nearby for similar and lower costs. I would not consider returning.

Food: Eggs and Berries serves breakfast food that is available during lunch and dinner as well. Their New York Steak(SGD22) that is served has a very big portion inclusive of some fresh chef’s selected vegetables. Very Blueberries(SGD6.50) is a must try if you’re ordering mocktail. Ambiance: Seating arrangement are too close to each other. For the price that was being paid you get quality chinaware and glassware. Service: The service staffs are very attentive to details, the whole team were aware of the set meal that we ordered and were prompt in serving our desert. Overall: The food was good and worth the money

The Eggs Benedict here have yolks that are done to perfection. Served on toasted English muffins with bacon, ham, hash browns and salad, it comes with sides such as lima beans and a carved tomato topped with garlic, breadcrumbs and herbs. I could do without the sides but I’m not complaining. If you’re feeling extra hungry, you can also choose to have buttermilk pancakes as your sides instead. Which is what I do most of the time! Early birds get to enjoy an Early Riser Special that’s available only from 8 to 9am that includes pancakes, a sunny-side up, bacon, sausage, hash brown and salad, all at a very pocket-friendly price of $ 8.50. A great steal if you ask me. Pity I can never get up so early !

When I first walked into Eggs & Berries, I did not think much of it at all. The interior left much to be desired and made me feel like I was a teenager looking for a place to hang out and study. The chairs are brightly coloured with orange and pink stripes, and there were pots of fake grass on the sides. Still, the place was clean and there was quite a queue outside for tables. I did not have to wait very long for a seat. A quick glance at the menu proved to be a little overwhelming due to the excess in choice one has when eating there. From breakfast and brunch options to pastas and desserts, there is something for everyone. The service staff were helpful and efficient. I ordered the eggs benedict and am happy to report that the eggs were perfectly cooked(there is nothing worse than overcooked poached eggs!) and there was sufficient hollandaise sauce for the eggs as well. A large slice of ham was served with the eggs, and though I found the bread a little bit heavy for my liking, it was still a great dish. I also tried the desserts and was very pleased with their generous portions. Other than your usual cakes and other baked goodies, there were also crepes served with fruits, and fresh smoothies that were delicious and satisfying. Great value for money here, I’d say!
