The Soup Spoon

I have tried two soups here. The first is the chicken ragu, which had a very strong herb flavor and plentiful chunks of meat, but could use a bit of heat. The second is the lamb and sausage ragu, in which the meat had a delicious, high-​quality flavor. I could still do for a little more spice, but it was quite tasty. I have also tried the spicy wedges, which, ironically, are also not spicy, but do come dusted with a chili-​powder-​like… powder. Nevertheless, the potatoes tasted fresh, were nicely fried, and still enjoyable.
Normally, the bread bowl is amazing at this place. It is basically a huge square of hollowed out bread with a big top. Unfortunately, on my visit, they were out of bread bowls and I had to downgrade to a large, inedible ceramic bowl.
Although the portions are large enough, the prices are a bit high for soup. If it weren’t for that, this would make an excellent frequent lunch stop or a nice place for a fast dinner.

It’s ok. There can be more clams in the chowder, but u get more potatoes.
