The brekkie is a very good portion for the price. I requested for the bread to be replaced with something else and they were obliging. Noticed that there are more mushrooms hehehe! The brekkie comes with an interesting«angmor Begedil»: the potato patty that Malay stalls sell? Nice coz they have onions in there to bring out the taste and when I ate it with the fried bacon which is on the salty side, they both went well:) Nice music played so good for chillaxin’

One more hipster café to add to the list! This place is newly opened and operated by the same folks at next door Rubato. It’s al fresco and looks like a lovely place for meetings or to work from during the day. One drawback is it’s in ulu Greenwood Ave… the Downtown MRT line can’t open soon enough. I had a flat white and it was fine. I tried my husband’s hot chocolate and despite the pretty latte art, it was baaaaaad. It wasn’t sweet, had this weird metallic aftertaste, and was chalky. The extra star is for ambiance. They have have a dog friendly patio, which is pretty rare in Singers. The tables near the entrance have great natural lighting, and if you go towards the back they have those trendy-ass lightbulbs that are dim on purpose and makes the space look cosy and shit. Bring your Kinfolk magazine that you’re not really reading(after all, it’s the one accessory that gets you those extra likes on Instagram) order the flat white, compile that paragraph of hashtags, and you’d fit right in at Claude’s!
