Located like 2 minutes walk away from Les Patissierie is this AMK Curry Puff, dubbed as the original«Tip Top» Curry Puff, it is indeed true! It definitely tastes like the original Tip Top curry puff that I remembered from my younger days. You can watch the staff sitting there and effortlessly hand making each curry puff, a truly respectable trait! Look at the huge pots of potatoes, ready to be cooked in the curry paste! It is crazy to think of the number of curry puffs, this stall churns out on a daily basis. The curry puff tasted very good, it was still crispy and it still had a delightful crunch to it, even though I had eaten 2 hours later! It was no longer hot, but the insides was still slightly warm. The curry puff wasn’t too spicy, as I normally don’t like spicy foods. The spice level in this curry puff was acceptable for me to enjoy it. I bought a bunch more for my colleagues to enjoy and everyone loved it. A great choice for a snack for big groups, at just $ 1.40 each, and they still stay crispy after hours!

Thanks to Unilocal,i found this nice curry puff in my area. This homemade style puff is better than then the popular polar puff or old chang kee ones. I personally dont like curry puff but will sure return to the store often when i pass by.

I am not a curry puff fan. It typically tastes too greasy and too much flour. This curry puff is yummy! The curry has a good mix of chicken and potato, and I like that it is also quite spicy(at the right level) and very flavorful. Plus the skin is not thick at all. Well worth the calories!

My friend posted on Twitter saying he just had the best currypuffs ever, and when we dropped by his house the last time, it was inevitable that I made it a point to drop by the shop to get the recommended puffs. Priced at $ 1.30, each currypuff is simply bursting full of ingredients-potatoes, chicken bits and bits of egg white. Spicy and served hot, the currypuff is indeed one of the best I’ve tasted thus far, comparable to the ones that I really enjoy but am able to always eat because they can only be found in Indonesia. Unlike the usual puffs that are dry and difficult to swallow, this one would not leave you thirsty and wondering why on earth you ate it late at night, which I did, as a substitute for dinner. Some may wonder if the owner of this store is somehow related to another famous store selling curry puffs in Ang Mo Kio Central. It seems like it might be so, as the puffs are about just as good!
