This is the second time I’ve come here with my boyfriend as we were really craving Wings Sunday for 59 cents each. We checked outside on their digital menu board and it advertised wing special all day Sunday so we go inside. We were seated in the corner area whilst a blaring of the current football game was playing(normal bar/pub atmosphere) but a total lack of people for a Sunday night(in downtown too!). Our waitress came and before we ordered my boyfriend asked if the wings were special for 59 cents. And she said no, it’s only during their happy hour from 2pm to 5pm daily(first red flag there). My boyfriend was too tired to argue with the lady as it clearly advertised their wing special all day for Sunday on the board outside. We placed our order for 3 lbs of wings and got them fairly quickly along with our drinks. However the waitress did not come by once to ask how we were doing until we flagged her down for water. Overall the place is pretty dingy and did not advertise their wing special correctly nor did they honour it. The 2 waitresses and 1 hostess working there looked miserable. If I had known that this Wings location does not have Sunday wings special we would have driven over to the location in Burnaby as that place is certainly more bustling and alive than the Granville Street location. P. S. they had their Christmas tree decoration up right beside our table and someone had chucked a chicken wing into the branches of the tree!(they need to do a better job cleaning up)

Here’s my review for this place: no. Terrible service. Staff look miserable. Food is bland, and overpriced for their quality. Not my first choice. In fact you could say it’s my last.

went in for the farmer’s breakfast today $ 9., a good bargain, I felt; it was my first time there so I didn’t know what to expect. Found it odd that the potatoes tasted mildly like syrup– the menu didn’t advertise any glazing. sausages were of decent quality– not the low grade breakfast sausage variety, but were definitely more than twice cooked, leaving a very thick texture on the surface, and bouncy in the middle. Coffee was over $ 3.!- if I was the type to drink beer with breakfast, I’d have felt that beer was a better value! After leaving, and the taste of coffee wore off, I started getting subtle notes of dish soap in my mouth; within 20 minutes I my breakfast was making its way out the express tunnel.

My family stayed at the Howard Johnson next door and attached to Wings on Granville, so we ate here at couple of times. The service was good and staff very friendly during both meals. The Wings has a sports bar décor and atmosphere. There are lots of sports decorations and lots of big screen televisions. Breakfast was very good. We like the quality and taste of the food. The portion sizes were good, and the prices were reasonable. Although, my kids each ordered a hot chocolate, and I asked for cheese on my eggs. Those 3 items, accounted for half the total bill. If you have breakfast here, skip the hot chocolate. Dinner was a different vibe. All of the televisions were turned up way too loud. It was difficult to have a conversation at the dinner table. We found the dinner items to just be average in all areas; quality, taste, portion size, and cost. I would have breakfast here again, but not any other meals.

This is my go-to wings place if I’m craving wings. Their wings are decent and not overly dry as some of the other cheap wings places can be in downtown. The service can be quite awful during the busy nights, with you having to call the wait staff several times for a water refill but to be fair they are quite friendly.

This place deserves its name! Let’s admit it, if you go to a place called«Wings», you’re not specially going for their burgers. And boy do they have good wings in there! There’s an immense list of flavourful wings available on the menu also listing their spicy scale and if they are more saucy or dry. My personal favourite: the Jakarta heat wings. Just delicious! Big warning though, they have extremely spicy wings in there, the Bobby wings that requires you to sign a waiver before eating them. They are ridiculously spicy and I couldn’t recommend them to anyone, it will just ruin your day. Other than that the ambiance is fun, like a sports bar type of place to go watch a game on TV.

The wings were decent here and the range of flavours available are its major selling point here. It’s a standard sports bar, you know what to expect. Tried a few cocktails and they were pretty standard, nothing to write home about. Service was fairly prompt!

The wings tasted old. Would not go to this place again. Service was half decent. I would only recommend going on a wing night.

Have been here a few times and had generally good experiences. However, last time was quite strange. My boyfriend and I ordered a pitcher and when the bartender brought it, the pitcher wasn’t filled up all the way to the top, there was still a couple inches of room left(no head). Since we didn’t want to get ripped off, my boyfriend asked the bartender to fill it to the top since he basically short poured us a full beer. He refused, saying that the managers told him to only fill it up to that level. I have never experienced anything like that before. The bartender wasn’t budging so I just let it go, but WTF? How cheap is management that you are giving customers shitty pitchers in order to save a few pennies? If you don’t want to give customers a lot of beer, than serve them in smaller pitchers, otherwise you are embarrassing yourself and losing customers.

Wasn’t offered a refill, finally flagged her down after waiting 10 minutes and then had to wait 15 minutes to GET my refill after getting a «oooh, didn’t you get that?» A sorry would have appeased me but didn’t even get that. Paid tons of attention to one side of our table but ignored 4 of us in the booth. #AllTheComplaining

Came by to try some non-wing items. Parking is pretty awful here. The nearest free spots are along Pacific. The layout of the pub is fairly typical. The bar counter is nice and long, with seating. Washrooms are attached to the hotel next door. There are some TV screens for watching the game as well. Staff were friendly and attentive. The Jalapeño Kicker burger I had was actually pretty decent. Nice thick patty. Interestingly enough, the toppings were all nice and tucked away inside the burger. A bit more toppings would be nice. With that said, it tasted pretty good. Fries were decent as well. I’ve had the wings before here too. Pretty good flavour, but a bit pricey at 47c a pop, and that’s only 1400 – 1700. This can get expensive for big eaters.

Love coming here for the greek and jakarta wings. Nothing on their menu’s very special. Most of the food is mediocre. The wings though are so small and tiny though that one can feel ripped off very easily. A lot of things here have extra add on costs which shows that its a restaurant with greedy owners but not like whining and complaining to the server will accomplish anything so just take it and enjoy. After the renovation the restaurant has improved in my opinion though. 3⁄5

Love their wings. They have so many choices and not to mention if you come here when the canucks are playing and depending where you sit, you might win a prize. Very friendly server but service is quite slow and can be frustrating to find your server to help you. Good if you are here with a bunch of friends and sharing the wings. Very flavorful and not over dried or over soggy. Just Awesome

You pretty much know what you’re getting at Wings: A standard sports bar that sells a variety of flavoured wings. That’s the elevator pitch and there’s little to expand on. Probably the most disappointing aspect of Wings is the real lack of choice and imagination in the draft beer selection. After-all, there’s no better bedfellow for wings than a cold beerski. But it’s all pretty boring lagers and Amber ales. Nothing to get excited about.

Since they closed and reopened things are better. They do have a good variety of choices. Funny thing we went the other night, four adults and a toddler. We must have ordered 6 pounds of wings, beers, etc. We we ordered one too many dips the waitress reminded us «you’re only entitled to X number…» Seriously we were spending a lot and you’re going to nickel and dime on a tiny dipping sauce? Good Lord… show some flexibility.

Great place to watch a game or predrink at the bar. Great staff — Andy and Jas are great bartenders. There is a large variety of food but the wings are what I come for regularly. There is pay parking all around so you don’t need to drive around looking.

2 friends were visiting from out of town, and after checking out the pride parade festivities, we wandered away from the core of Davie St, and ended up at Wings to unwind. It was Pride day, but there were 2 free booths, and seats at the bar & center table. So it was 3:45pm, 75% full, and not hectic. Majority of people are at the core of Davie, so this was a «good» amount of busy, without a lineup out the door. While the waitress was clearing a patio table for us, she said she would come back with menus(… as she took away the ones that were already on the table, I’m not sure why.). After 15 minutes: no waitress, no menu — I found the original waitress, and said we’re still waiting on menus. She comes over moments later, asking us what we want to order. I said we still needed menus… She finally brings them over, and we ordered drinks right away. And after that, she asks us what we’d like to order, even though we’d only had the menu for 30 seconds! That kind of set the premise for the rest of the meal. Through the rest of the service, we were faced with some of the shoddiest service I’ve EVER had, and I was truly embarrassed to have brought out-of-town visitors to this place. — waited 30 minutes until we could order food. Kept asking a waitress, who would relay that message to our own waitress — who would never come — we had 2 waitresses for some reason(maybe 1 got busy and the 2nd was helping?). But the issue was no communication. After waiting 10 mins for drinks, #2 came over to ask what we wanted to order. We told her we already ordered… another 5 minutes pass, and she comes back to clarify that we had in fact ordered drinks. It was a lot of «I’ll tell your waitress.» which is fine, but when we’re kept waiting all the time, its obvious that there’s lack of communication. By this time, we’ve been waiting 15 minutes for our drinks. — a waitress went to the tables on either side of us, asking them how their food was and if they needed anything else. While we’ve asked if we could order several times already — plates were randomly set down in front of us without clarifying which dish belonged to whom. Generally not a big deal if an honest mixup happened but there was clearly no effort — 2 plates of wings arrived, but the girl didn’t tell us which flavor was on which plate. We asked her which was which, and she said, «I don’t know. Well what did you order? I really don’t know» then someone else came over and told us: S — my friend wanted mayo for her 3 mini slider burgers, and the girl said it was $ 1.50. FORMAYONNAISE. I’ve never heard of a full service restaurant charging for a basic condiment. $ 1.50 is ridiculous!!! Fritz’s Fry House has a variety of 20 dips for $ 1, Cactus Club /Milestones offers their amazing watercress dip for $ 1.50. No way were we paying that for plain no-name mayonnaise. I won’t be surprised if they will also charge for ketchup, and salt /pepper. By this point, you really couldn’t even have given it to us «on the house» considering we already spent 30 minutes waiting to order? — asked for 3 forks & napkins /wet naps, and got 1 fork, no napkins. Had to ask again — we were never rude to the waitresses, and never complained /told them off, but of course frustrated since we had to ask countless times for service. Since it was obvious that we had been getting pretty piss-poor service, they didn’t bother trying to rectify anything, or ask us how our food was, or if we wanted to order more drinks! Maybe they figured since we were already upset with the service, that they weren’t gonna put in the effort to make it better — I was shortchanged by 15 cents. I was supposed to get xx.90 back, and I only got xx.75. Its only 15 cents, I can survive without it. But come on, its the principal. You give your customer the EXACT change, even if its just a penny. This was just sloppy and it felt like they were taking a piss out of us. I couldn’t find a waitress to bring up the issue(not a surprise.) so we just left. I don’t like leaving a restaurant without tipping, and it rarely happens, but I really felt this wasn’t worthy of any tip, not even the 15 cents that they held back. — the food? really not that good. All the food was pretty dry /overcooked, and the wings were really dry /chewy. Not all the wings were dry, but most were. Sloppy service served with a side of embarrassment for me. No thanks, never again. Other reviews(ie: Nathan W) seemed to reflect my service, with the incompetent and unprofessional servers, they really don’t care about the customer at all. Re-training is clearly in order.

I will never eat at this Wings location again. I went with a group of 7 friends to Wings on Granville on a Thursday night. The wings were not as good as the wings I’ve had at the Surry location. They were overcooked and some were really dry. I ordered the Roasted red pepper, buffalo, salt and pepper and yam fries to share. The service was good until the bill came. When we were seated there was some food on the seats in the booth and parts of the table were sticky, nothing a second wipe down couldn’t fix. They overcharged me and my friends for our wings by over $ 20 and when I brought it to their attention the manager did not apologize. Her initial reaction was very aggressive and automatically accused me of being wrong. After sorting everything out and they adjusted our bill the manager tried to savage things but it was not genuine and the damage was done. I’ll be searching for a different restaurant downtown Vancouver to satisfy my craving for wings!

Not bad, but not great. We ordered about 5 lbs of wings to share between our group of 5 which was plenty. The wing were decent sized, but they weren’t that amazing. For a place called Wings, I do have higher standards. Flying Beaver in Richmond still takes the cake when it comes to the the juiciest wings in the city, hands down. The service was lacking as well. It took us forever to flag down a server to pay for the bill, so we just walked up to the counter and took care of the payment there. Meh. 3 stars.
