Solid place for wings, especially $ 7 a pound on Wednesday. They have an enormous selection of flavours ranging from no heat to blow your lid off spice explosion. The wings are plump and now the small dingy ones you get at some places. They are perfectly saucy and always satisfy my wings craving. The other things on the menu are okay, exactly what you’d expect of pub fare. There are a lot of tvs to watch the games and is an overall very laid back atmosphere.

Went for taco Tuesday, got three not so great tacos and the worst service I’ve had in a while. Definitely will not eat here again.

The food is really good… But they need to hire more servers… The ones they had were fine but just super short staffed. It did ruin my experience a little. This was just last night.

Good food spoiled by bad service. I’d give AllStar 3.5 stars for the wings, but the service here is absolutely atrocious. I’ve been here three times, twice on Wing Wednesday and most recently on a Thursday Salsa night. I’ll start with tonight’s disappointment. My group of three got to AllStar at 8:30PM, not knowing that they host a Salsa night. Cool, that’s fine, but they had the music blasting throughout the entire restaurant, including around the booths away from the dancefloor. A guy standing near the front door told us to sit anywhere we wanted, so we chose a booth with a window beside the patio. Our waitress came over and we could barely hear her when she was speaking, so she suggested we move to a booth across the restaurant because the music wouldn’t be as loud over there. The new booth had a speaker directly above it, making it even louder than the first booth. Okay, whatever, we’ll just have to speak over the music. For anyone who hasn’t seen AllStar’s list of wings flavours, it’s basically a huge list of fun sounding, minimally descriptive names. The waitresses are supposed to carry a little flavour cheatsheet with a description of all of the flavours to help customers know what they’re actually ordering. Our waitress didn’t have her cheatsheet and didn’t really know about any of the flavours. I asked her what«Hawaiian Eruption» was. Her response: «Hawaiian Eruption is pineapple and, uh… eruption.» Okay, thanks, I would’ve never guessed! Since we were ordering four different flavours of wings, the waitress eventually gave up on guessing what the flavour names meant and finally got her cheatsheet from the bar a few steps away. Because the music was so loud, we had to repeat everything to her five times before she could understand what we were saying. Ordering our wings took forever, but whatever, she wasn’t in control of the music volume. The wings came quite quickly and they were great, though small, as usual. Our waitress checked in on us a few minutes later, and we didn’t see her again until an hour and a half later when she came to ask if we wanted the bill. No offers to refill our drinks or get us more food — nothing. I guess I should be thankful that she was helping us keep our bill low. It wasn’t busy at all, so her lack of attention to our table was surprising. I did notice that the speaker over our booth was turned down sometime during our meal, so that was nice. Now let’s revisit my first experience at AllStar Wings from August 2015. I came with a group of six on a late Wednesday afternoon during Happy Hour. Cheap beer and wings, awesome! That is, until two waitresses came to serve us our baskets of wings. They started giving us our individually ordered wing flavours, naming them as they put them down, and some of us started eating the wings. Then they realized that they had two extra baskets of wings — and they suddenly had no idea what flavours they had given to us. The waitresses got their manager and her genius idea was to SMELL the wings to figure which basket was which flavour. Firstly, it’s gross and unappetizing to have someone else’s face within three inches of your wings, and second, they weren’t able to identify the flavours by smell anyway so we just ended up with second hand breath on our wings. We asked the manager to just take the wings away instead of sticking their noses in the food that we had already started eating. Eventually, all of the baskets of wings were brought back to our table and the manager made a point of telling us that the extra baskets would be given to us for free. Thanks, I guess? We didn’t order them, so no duh, we shouldn’t have to pay for them! My second visit was a few weeks later, also during Happy Hour. We figured the idiocy we experienced the first time around was just a fluke, but nope, our server was once again clueless. She also told us that we could order wings and get them packed to go. When we asked for an order to go, the wings ended up coming in a regular basket and the waitress explained that her manager told her that we could not have them to go. She was apologetic and got the manager to speak with us. This was the same manager who decided smelling our wings in front of us was a good idea to identify the flavours. The manager was argumentive and insisted that we could either pay for the wings and eat them while in the restaurant, or they could throw them out. Basically, it’s better for them to throw away already cooked wings than put them in a to-go box. Our waitress was extremely apologetic for how rude her manager was, but was not allowed to get us a box to take the wings home. We ended up just wrapping them in paper and walked out with them. Thinking back to this second experience, I’m surprised I allowed myself to try AllStar again tonight. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me three times, I’m obviously an idiot. Fine, I’ll admit it — I’ll probably be back. The wings aren’t half bad.

Lots of wing flavor options on their menu but the wings themselves aren’t good. Some of them were so tiny and also just dumped w sauce. Service was alright but food meh. Not a bad room though. Lots of TVs for watching games.

This is the bar for the ultimate sports fan. Just like the other reviewers are saying — you can’t miss ALL the TV’s. I came in for drinks and dinner with some coworkers. The prices are reasonable. I ordered the Leaning Tower of Cheesa grilled cheese sandwich. Now, maybe it was the drinks, but I had no idea what I was getting myself into. The sandwich is a cheese haven. Essentially, I ordered two grilled cheese sandwiches with an 8oz cheese burger patty in between the two. I also ordered chilli fries with is… like I said I had no idea how much food that was going to be! I couldn’t finish it and I left feeling VERY full. It is definitely pub food. I would return for the intense selection of gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches.

The service was horrible. Barely had our waters filled. The server made a mistake of the order and we had to wait about 15 extra minutes for food. The wings were bland and without taste. We complained to the waitress and she shrugged it off. We asked to speak to a manager who was more helpful. The greek salad had no dressing and was without much taste. Overall it wasn’t good and I wouldn’t go back. Not a good experience and bad value. Spend a lot of money on food that was without any seasoning or taste.

Just off of Robson, this place can be easily missed as its on the second floor. Awesome place to watch sports since there are TVs in every booth and pretty much any way you turn your head. Came here on Saturday to watch the baseball game and it was pretty empty with one guy serving. For wings we ordered the Where’s the beef?(Gravy and cheddar cheese), Pandora’s Box(sweet chili sauce), and Smokin’ Pickle(smokey dill pickle). The Smokin’ Pickle was hands down my favourite, I could be biased though because I love pickles. Ahem, we also ordered a plate of deep fried pickles. Not the biggest selection of beers but it’ll do.

Eh. My boyfriend, myself and two of my friends were super hyped to try out AllStar, being a big fan of Wings and my boyfriend having had a great experience at the Toronto AllStar location. Service felt fairly slow, and we only got 2 waters for the table and had to wait another 15 minutes for the other 2… We got the potato skins as well as the Vesuvius, honey garlic, and chipotle wings. The skins weren’t bad, and the wings are only okay. TIt was difficult figuring out what to order when there were no descriptions of what some flavours were(what the heck is «Black Tie Required» and«Aztec Glory» supposed to taste like??) and the waitress was hard to come by so we were more concerned with getting food than clarification. The place has a TV screen for almost every table(minus the patio seating –just a few big screens outside). I would imagine it’s a great place to watch a big Canucks game and enjoy some beers but don’t just come for the wings. Go to Wings instead. They know what they’re doing with their seasoning/sauces and they actually have descriptions(!!!) for their flavours. Price is standard for downtown but more than I wanted to pay for what I got. In summary: nice patio, slow service, meh wings.

**Good for watching sports, good for big groups, lukewarm experience.** This place is pretty good as a sports bar. They have plenty of room to accommodate large group of friends, and the space is loaded with wide screen televisions. And what better than wings and ribs to accompany you while you watch a nail biting sports showdown. The catch is * we did not go there on a game night. * We were a huge group of friends, who had come together for a dude’s birthday celebration and another dude’s farewell party. All other places we had called up had(understandably) denied us reservations for such a big group on a weekend evening, and ASWR had come come to our rescue.(They get an extra star for this act of kindness.) But, to be honest, the overall experience was quite disappointing. I felt that the place was understaffed to serve such a big facility and group. We were leaving our seats to go up to a counter and to order our food and drinks. There weren’t any lives game on, but still we had tons of televisions flashing at us. If they had at least muted the volumes, it wouldn’t have felt that crazy. I was slightly late to the event, and even before I had touched the menu, I could hear my friends complaining about the burger or sandwiches they had ordered. :/ Anyways, I ordered the a drink and the«Half and Half»(this is ribs in sauce with a side of fries). The ribs were well cooked, soft and juicy, the fries were crisp. Food wise very basic but satisfying. Once we were done with our dinner, I went up to the waitress and asked for the bill. Somehow the billing machine double accounted the 15% gratuity, and my printed bill came with a 30% gratuity! I brought it up to the waitress, she came back after consulting the manager, and the bill was fixed. Overall, it was a lukewarm experience. The food I ordered came out good, and we were happy to get reservations, but things did not go well otherwise. I don’t have any good reasons to return here. :/

After being here three times I finally got how the menu works. It’s too complicated if is the first time you’re here so keep asking the waitress until you got it. Wednesday is wings day and they’re kind of half of the price. It’s a goodplace to hangout.

This was by far the worst place I’ve been to in terms of customer service. Our waitress was a completely bimbo and give off the vibe she hated her job! On top of that she FORGOT or MESSED up and our order was never placed. My biggest regret is not saying anything SOONER because no one came to check on us or even apologize when I asked about our food! And get this, the waitress asked if we wanted another beer when we were clearly didn’t get our food even! Yeah– my one star is based just on service but at that point did I really want to wait around for food, again? HELLNO. TRUSTMEWHEN I SAY: Don’t waste your time trying this place. There’s a TON of options around the area… Robson street, Denman etc…

I had dinner there and I liked it, I’d maybe go there sometimes if I lived here, looks like a good place to have dinner and beers with friends. There is music that tunes you to a party mood, in a loud-but-not-annoying volume. You can choose breaded/unbreaded wings and lots of styles(BBQ, salt & pepper, cajun, etc), categorized by spiciness. I tried two different wing styles(not spicy because other people at the table didnt want) and I liked them. The price is fair considering you are in downtown, but not cheap. Go there if you want wings or something similar and you’ll like it, but don’t expect something more.

I cannot WAIT until this place shuts down, and they put something good in there! What a waste of good Robson Street space! My first comment is to the staff. If you cannot be kind to your customers, do not expect a tip. The women here are probably the rudest waitresses in all of Vancouver. My second comment is in regards to the awful food they serve. If you’re going to put«Wings» in your name, please make them at least mildly tasty. The burgers are embarrassing and not worth the calories. I came here with my fiancé for dinner not that long ago, and there were no burgers that interested me, but I asked if I could have one of them on the menu, minus 1 item and plus bacon. The waitress continued to tell me that All Stars is an East Coast restaurant, and on the East Coast they don’t allow changes to burgers. Um, what? So you’re telling me that in all of the East Coast you cannot take onions off of a burger when you order it? You cannot add bacon? If that’s true, it’s no wonder people love Vancouver so much! So I got my baconless burger covered in onions and plucked them off myself. My fiancé asked for a side of mayo, and was given 2 packets like you’d get at a fast food place. Our waitress came to our table twice, once to take our order, and once to deliver our food. We did not receive a bill, and were not asked how our food was– she was too busy watching one of the 19TV’s in the place. Another side point. Turn down your TV’s! If there are 6 people in there(like when we were there) you don’t need to blast the volume. I live 1 block away and can hear their TV’s when our windows are open during a «big game». Unnecessary.

Went to go see the Canucks vs Flames game. didn’t make a reservation so had to wait and hope that someone wouldn’t show up. Lucky enough it happened so we were seated, we started off with a pitcher of beer and a single order of Bloody Carder flavoured wings. The wings were delicious but as the order says, single, was just enough for one person. Our second order of wings were honey something which were also pretty good. Only bad part if you’re going to eat wings, none if the wings have a description on the menu telling you more or less what they taste like and there are at least 100 different types so it is very hard to choose from. We also had a Caesar along with the beers which had no flavour at all, tasted like watered down tomato juice and vodka on ice, no spicing whatsoever. Half way through the game we ordered some burgers, Mehican, Ring of Fire and Losfer Words, which really had me at a loss for words as the menu said it had a suicide sauce on it but it didn’t burn, it was also suppose to have had guacamole and sour cream which it didn’t. The Mehican didn’t have salsa, jalapeños, nor crushed tortillas like it said on the menu, it also had raw onions instead of caramelized. The Ring of Fire had no jalapeños plus the five alarm sauce on top didn’t burn. We had also seen them advertising an all you can eat Ribs every Sunday but when we ordered it we were told they would not be having that special today. We did have a great time but I doubt we would be returning.

We were there on Wings Wednesday. Yummy!!! Normally the wings are expensive but on Wednesday wing night it’s a GREAT deal! You get to choose from 5 of their most popular flavours. Normally there are 206 flavours to choose from … Wow! I wasn’t impressed with the extra charge for celery and dip though. 3×3″ pieces of celery for $ 0.75? And $ 1 for a tiny cup of dip. Service was friendly. Clean surroundings. Weird doors for the bathroom stalls … Haha the doors were translucent!!!

For sports fans, especially after a hockey game, we love coming here because while it’s an American version of Boston Pizza, it’s quite spacious here and more booth seating. Even a private room facing Robson for some serious people watching. Their menu is extensive: salads, sandwiches, hot dogs, burgers, ribs, and of course, wings… and real wings, over 100 flavours. Honey garlic’s my favourite, and between this and Wings on Granville, it’s a tight toss-up, as well as both delivery too. During the day when it’s slowest between lunch and dinner, they’re cool with me hogging their U-shape booth on the left, bar side, pretty friendly. Service is pretty cool, esp. the Czech bartender who knows her hockey. Where the old Moxie’s used to be. Metered parking all around but a few strips of free 2 hr parking on Haro, just a block south, there’s my tip of the day ;)

Hello All Stars! How I’ve missed you! 5 stars — lemme break it down — TVs. TVs as far as the eye can see. From where I sat, there was one TV above my head, one at the end of our booth, and another one right above that. From my vantage point, I can count 13 TVs, including two mentioned already. All of them are showing sports. — Wings. An insane amount of wings flavours. My favourite has always been the Mardi Gras. We also had a cajun wings, unbreaded. They’ve got a wings special on Monday: 15 wings for the price of 10. Yes! — the servers are sweet. They’re all really nice and pretty helpful. — the bathrooms are super nice and clean and spacious. — they’ve got an awesome patio(complete with TVs of course). Yay wings! Welcome to Robson Street! Get here by walking(and roll yourself home after eating all the wings om nom nom). Or catch the Robson bus if you don’t want to walk.
