Excellent deep flavoured broth. Good portions. You can get a small and fill you up. Nothing like a bowl of hot phở on a rainy Vancouver day! Note! They’re NOT open everyday. Closed on Tuesdays!

Food: Now, I definitely can’t call them authentic. I’ve ordered both sizes of their phở(beef noodle soup) and the difference between the small and large is the amount of noodle they provide. Unfortunately for the extra couple of bucks, you don’t get any additional meat. This was a bit disappointing. Their spring rolls are good for the price, but I won’t say they’re great. The filling includes a lot of a root(taro) and is lacking meat. However, they are quite large so that aspect makes up for it. Their«special pork bun» is a banh bao(steamed meat bun) — however, all you will find in it is pork, bean thread and mushroom. Usually banh bao will have half a hardboiled egg or a quail egg inside. I’ve also ordered their subs(banh mi) before. I don’t have any complaints. Their toppings and filling is on par with most other establishments. Location & Parking: ample. It’s on Renfrew so there’s tons of street parking. Easy to find. Ambience: It looks like a mom and pop type establishment. Nothing fancy or out of the ordinary. Service: I’ve had days where their service is 5⁄5. They’re quick and friendly. However, one time I had placed an order for pick-up: 2 bowls of phở, 5 banh bao and 4 banh mi. When I took the items and checked it over, I noticed they only gave me 4. I asked them why one was missing and they said, «sorry.» so I stood there awkwardly asking, «well, can I get my missing bao?» & they told me they had run out. Ok, so when I was paying, why didn’t they mention this and refund me instead of assuming they’d get a free few bucks if I walked out without noticing? This is a definite 0/5* experience. The experience above is why I knocked off 2 stars. I don’t care how good the food may or may not be. I won’t eat at a restaurant that is that dishonest. I haven’t gone back since.

We were literally just passing through the area and landed upon this place. What a little gem! It was pretty quiet on a Wednesday night, so our service was amazingly quick and friendly too. I had grilled chicken with Phở, and the hubs had the regular beef Phở that can’t with plenty of beef stuff. Both were delicious. The soup base for my bowl was delightfully clear and light. The fried onions bits were a beautiful touch. Bonus: they have a 10% off for dine in and take out on Wednesday nights. Woo hoo! Cash and debit only.

Cleanliness is a major deal for me and I was really surprised about how clean and modern this place was compared to most(or should I say all) viet restos. The food was clean, well plated, and not bad as well. Customer service, great. Would definitely come back. Deserves 5 stars!

This actually my third time coming in here. The service is absolutely brilliant. They are extremely nice and very quick on their feet with a smile on their faces. Really enjoy the ambience here. They have Shaw wifi which is an added bonus. Check it out. I am actuall getting the chicken sub again since it was delicious the last time.

Phở Ngon has a lovely and clean modern décor, it is such a great addition to the neighborhood. The Phở is great here with big portions for the large size. I have also tried their bah mi chicken sandwich, it was good(but I’ve had better) and the salad rolls are big and refreshing! This is definitely going to be my go to take out place for phở during these damp winter months. Good food and prices can’t go wrong here folks!

Contrary to what others say here, smaller bowls(for a couple dollars less) of phở are available upon request. This place is a gem. Excellent food, nicely prepared and served at very modest prices. The soup stock is delicate and tasty, the spring rolls perfectly made. Thgis place definitely deserves to be a success.

Classy little phở joint inside a nice shiny new building. A nice(and superior) alternative to Thai Son in the strip mall next door. Parking is available along Renfrew, as well as the side streets. As the place is new(they opened around November 2014), everything is nice and clean and shiny. New tables and chairs, and class décor and utensils. The place felt pretty high end. The place even uses stainless steel spoons, and has dipping sauce bowls. Beautiful. Staff were friendly, and the waiter was quite nice in answering my questions. Spring rolls — 3 for $ 4.50. Size not the biggest. The style is much more like that of Cantonese dim sum, as the skins weren’t fluffy. The fish sauce isn’t the strongest either. Missing that characteristic stink. Beef steak and beef ball phở — served in a classy looking bowl. Nice onions and green onions on top. No gristle in the beef balls. Steak slices were average size and thickness. Very nice broth. Looking forward to coming back and trying more good food. Recommended.

Cheap Vietnamese food! Entrees are only $ 8.00! Small bowl of phở is $ 6.50. Place seems clean and modern. Food is typical nothing special but decent price. Not very busy which I like and server is attentive. They also have steam buns.

Went here with my dad today. It has a very modern look to it. The restuaraunt was empty though. It didn’t have a lot of variety in terms of phõ. Small was the only size they have. Usually a small bowl of phõ was about 6 – 7 dollars and a large is usually 7.50−8.50, but their small was 8 dollars. Overall the phõ wasn’t bad, but wasn’t too bad. I’m probably not going to come back…

Another great addition, a much better alternative than the hole in the wall next door inside the plaza ;) A bit smaller, but still good enough with 10 tables, clean, more modern, a bit of an industrial flair, high ceilings. For the value, the large bowl for $ 8 can’t be beat, but I did find them a tad smaller. but plenty of fixings, meatballs and well done beef brisket #P7. Good broth. Liked how for the 1st time at a phở place, they used steel spoons instead… did get a bit hot lol. Nice touch when waitress in her New Balance shoes, asked if I wanted steam sprouts. Debit card/cash only. the only place to charge your phone is the far left corner table ;)

I came here with Team Fam and I ordered a plate of Spring Rolls(3) and a Phở Tai(Vietnamese noodles with rare beef). My usual order includes tendon but that wasn’t a regular menu option here. The spring rolls here are the cheapest I’ve seen at $ 4.50 and the phở is also very reasonably priced at $ 8 a bowl. There is just one size of phở here but after eating these two items I was completely stuffed and ready for a food coma. The spring rolls had a nice crunch and use taro as an ingredient. This makes the spring rolls more delicious and fill you up even more. The spring rolls are also larger than the competition at Thai Son. The phở here is also delicious. The broth isn’t too oily and if I weren’t full I would have slurped it all down. The noodles have a nice chewiness to them and they’re not brittle at all. I was pleasantly surprised when I was given the option of raw or cooked bean sprouts with my phở. I’ve never had that happen before and I appreciate their efforts to accommodate all types of customers.

The phở all comes in one size for $ 8 and its pretty good phở. I also had their chicken sub and it was really good. I believe its cash only but not completely sure. Would definitely come back.

We came here for lunch on a rainy Sunday afternoon. This restaurant just opened a few blocks from my house. The décor is modern and tasteful, with soft lighting, giving it a nice ambiance. Much nicer ambiance than most phở places I have seen, especially the one next door in the T&T plaza, Thai Son. We ordered two prawn salad roles, which came with a tasty peanut sauce. Also we had the beef brisket phở, and the veggie phở in a beef broth. They were served very quickly with a generous plate of bean sprouts, basil, and lime wedges. The phở soup base has a good balance of flavour, not too salty or sweet. The price was $ 8 for the beef, and $ 7 for the veggie, for a generous sized bowl that neither of us were able to finish. We both enjoyed our meal and would definitely come here again.

This is new in my In-laws neighborhood. Better than Thai son. The phone soup base is exceptional. Lemon grass chicken was flavorful. Every dish was $ 8. Spring rolls $ 4.50 for 3. It was Chinese style outer shell and I prefer Vietnamese rice shell. I’d return. Décor was nice and service was good.

Another Phở restaurant opened in the First Ave Marketplace neighborhood. Not a bad place to eat. It gives me kind of cool feeling when I entered as the dining tables are granite stone with grey cement pole by the cashier. Spacious set up & actually quite comfy. There’s only one young waitress(may be at closing time) but she’s pretty good & keep refill our tea few times. On the food side the taste is good but portion wise is just adequate. Price is reasonable, most of the dishes are set at $ 8. Only one washroom for both sex. But the«Employee only» washroom is also be available in emergency case ;) This time I only experienced the ‘rice & vermicelli” May be I really should try their«Phở» & sandwich next time…
