It is a HK style café that serves cold drinks. Officially this is not a bubble tea place by preparation and ingredients standards, however, they will/do serve your drink with pearls on request. Pricing is fair market value. Space is decent but very limited for large groups. Service was slow but friendly.

Ordered their meal deal that included a milk tea and Chinese BBQ with rice. The milk tea is so so. Tastes a little artificial. The BBQ with rice is made with frozen vegetables and cooked with microwave. I was the only one there but the wait was pretty long at about 15 mins.

Long Xuan Tea is located on Kingsway, conveniently across from Metrotown. Their menu is fairly standard, with all your typical bubble tea offerings. The guy working there was friendly and recommended items for me to try and answered my questions about the menu. I ended up ordering a honey green tea with grass jelly, which was $ 4.50. A bit steep in my opinion, but it was still pretty good! It was a bit diluted, but was just the right sweetness. The grass jelly was the natural variety, not the artificial kind, which I appreciated. It was chewy, and the right texture. For a startup tea house, they still have plenty of room of improvement. If I would have one recommendation it would be that they add some unique drinks to their menu, to stand out from their competitors! Overall, a solid bubble tea place near Metrotown!

Love coming here for their cold drinks with pearls! I enjoy their tapioca pearls a lot more than many other places, especially in cold drinks! The store is small but very cute and clean. They also deliver!
