This is a pretty good fast food restaurant! They have cold ice cream treats and fast food. The staff aren’t very friendly and don’t show any emotion!

Two friends and I came here 10 minutes before close last Friday night, so we were expecting the staff to be slightly annoyed (understandably). To our amazement, they were extremely friendly and helpful! The girl at the register even helped me pick out a delicious blizzard combination.

Yes, the staff can be hit or miss when it comes to being interested or happy with what they are doing. However, I will give that a pass with it being fast food, even though I shouldn’t. But really, I don’t care, just give me my ice cream!

Can’t expect much from frozen milk but that’s not the reason for the low review. They actually make very decent frozen milk. Of course when I say frozen milk I mean their ice cream.
The reason for the low review is because of their staff. They look like they don’t give a sh*t about what they do or care about their customers and it shows in the way they talk.
I get it, its Dairy Queen, but if you’re going to work and make that minimum wage, then be prepared to actually do your job.

During my childhood, DQ was the deluxe treat of the time! Nowadays, I have plenty of other options and a car to drive myself elsewhere. However, I do still enjoy their ice cream cakes and desserts occasionally. The quality has been very consistent. The service is a hit or miss.

They still had pumpkin purée for their pumpkin blizzard in November, therefore, they get automatic props since I missed out on this in October. Boooo for the fact that their customer service in general has always been terrible for me.

Not sure if this Dairy Queen gets enough walk in traffic because the soft serve is too soft. Either that, or they need to pump out the first few watery bits from the pump before making my cone. I almost wanted to tell them to put it in the freezer for me a bit or make me a new one. I ate it anyway and it wasn’t bad, just could have been a lot better.

I stopped in for the «Turtle Waffle Bowl”-a caramel, pecan, ice cream and whipped cream concoction served in a chocolate waffle bowl. Yum!
So besides this DQ here has 2 entrances and seating for over 50 customers in their front lobby area alone! With large wall of windows facing Hastings, it’s the perfect place to indulge in a treat and people watch. I’m certain that summer will mean patio chairs on their patio too! Hours are every day 11am-​10pm come come check it out!

In the area, as had to get a Blizzard for somebody at home. This location is very convenient as they have two entrances, one on the front of the road, and one in the back of the parking lot.
What else can I say about Dairy Queen, except, it’s not busy in the winter, and it’s packed in the summer!
