I was very lucky enough to attend a reception at The Boat House. I had a fantastic meal. the waiting staff were very attentive, courteous and very polite. I was very spoilt by the staff who arranged special platters of nibbles for me due to gluten intolerence. Nothing was a bother for them. The meal it self was delicious and presented at a high standard. I can recommend this venue to anyone looking for a great night with great staff and great food. Thank you.

The Boat House is set on the edge of Lake Burley Griffin. It is a most beautiful location. Quiet and serene. Gorgeous décor. Very impressive for business lunch or intimate evening with someone special.
My first meal there was seven years ago. I had medallions of kangaroo for lunch and I can still recall the incredibly delicious sauce that came with the meal.
The wine list is excellent, especially the choice of whites and the shiraz collection.
Prepare to drop some real dollars, but between the view, the impeccable service, the surroundings and the karma — this place defines elegant dining in the ACT.
It is somewhere I do not miss visiting when I am in town.
