This club has absolutely awesome reggae!!! I came here on a Friday and the dj was THE BEST. He played some roots reggae that I haven’t heard in so long and some great contemporary reggae — absolute Heaven. Great drinks — even specialty ones! It’s dim, intimate and gives you that earthy, hole-​in-​the-​wall feel, which is wonderful. Amadou, the owner is funny, friendly and quite the character. Saturday, they had a band, which the owner is also involved in and I heard it was fantastic! This club is directly across the street from Fundbureau on the opposite corner. It’s very easy to pass by, so keep a look out. You won’t regret it!

Souledge is a strange little club, but the night I went it had a great samba band playing. The place attracts a very varied crowd, but someone was feeding me astras — always a bad idea.
Also there was a guy working at the bar asking everyone to sign a petition against the smoking ban. Hmm. The smoking ban is a great idea. They lose a few points for that.
