Humboldt Carré. Where the past meets the future — where tradition meets modernity. So says their website and I agree. It’s a historical old bank building from 1901 and has been beautifully modernized to become an office /conference /entertainment facility. My company has opened a new customer visit centre here recently and this was my first visit to the Carré. Gorgeous high ceilings, grand staircase and sandstone exteriors makes this place feel grand and stately. It is located centrally and easy to get to. The caterers who service this building provide good food and all in all a great experience. I will definitely come back here again and again. The Gendarmerie restaurant is located at the bottom of this building and you can read my separate review of this place.
