The place is very cosy. I like the interior and decoration — in the same trend as Forum or the modern-vintage places you often find in Zurich. The place is great for lunches, afternoon coffees and good for one-on-one drinks in the evening. You will not be overwhelmed by the music inside at night. I would opt for this place for dates for example. For those who want a place more hectic at night, it is currently not at Dante’s energy level currently. Yet, I enjoy it very much.

Stylish but comfy place. Beautiful tiles on the wall. Parisan bistro inspired place. I can recommend brunch. For a small stomach: the bread basket comes with a lot of bread but not much more. Cappuccino is good. The eggs benedict were good but you get only one egg where as in NYC it was usually served with 2, maybe that’s the Swiss way? Here you get a brioche and a slice of ham with it. The sauce hollandaise is really delicious. You have many omelette options. The one with salmon looked really good. Not available on Sundays but all other days e.g. onion soup, escargots, beef tartare and other French connections. Funny room where you enter the bathroom. Kids friendly but still no boring family place. It’s rather hip(pardon my language. I’m not sure if I should still use that word nowadays) however, there’s no changing table. I’ll go again.

At first I wanted to go there to help a friend with her French, which we did, but she was quite late so I started this review. That happens, right? Anyway, the place is quite hidden so to say, as it in a residential area which is closer to a school or houses that other bars or clubs, but the name intrigued me as it was in French so I had to give it a go. The place is filled with small table for 2 – 4 people where you can actually eat, but you can just drink as well or just sit at the bar. We were there on a Thursday evening and the place was quite crowded, it goes without saying that if you expect to eat there you are likely to need a reservation. Regardless, I went for a classic beer, I actually remember the name, Amboss Amber, but not the price(for once). But hat seemed just fair to me. The staff is quite nice and the place is relatively quiet. We found one small, low table left, which was free and that did let us enough room to work on our paper. In all and all, a good place to meet a few people and to chat, but that’s not the right place if you are having a large party with you as it not fit to welcome such
