Had a really good family lunch here. We ate outside on a summer Sunday, and had a beautiful view of the water. I loved the food and ingredients — for starter tried the kalix & toast with sour cream, and for lunch, the char with scallops over potatoes. We also split a baby pot of small potatoes with dill. Everything was delicious!
Only qualm is that parking wasnt so easy …

We ended up stopping in as it was right down the road from our hotel. Although the restaurant leans to the dressier side of things we felt no problem going in to eat dressed casually with young kids in tow.
The staff was very warm and welcoming. We were served a bread bowl with some good flat bread varieties but what really surprised us was the soft pumpkin bread — very tasty!
We shared the pepper pan fried reindeer/venison which was a nice cut, cooked just to medium-rare with local mushrooms and a smoked pork filled potato ball and also the salted salmon with dill.
The kids both had swedish staples with pancakes and meatballs. The lingon berries were really tasty with both those dishes.
Overall a very warming, tasty meal that fit perfectly with the setting. The view itself is worth the trip !
