Selma City Spa

I had a wonderful time swimming in the heated outdoor pool surrounded by snow in freezing temperatures. A very Swedish experience for sure. The sauna is very big and comfortable, the lounge room is cosy and you can enjoy organic fruit (amazing melon) while you relax under nice warm blankets. The lotion they offer in the locker room is fantastic, made of organic cloudberries. If you stay at the hotel, you get a big discount on the entrance fee.

The visit started with a ride in the pop elevator with groovey music & a disco globe which set my mood = happy mood. The spa entrance do not require a booking, well actually you cannot book. The changing rooms are small and your best bet is to go here on a weekday or perhaps to book a treatment since that will give you priority to the spa.
After unwinding in the relax room for a while we had some wraps in the bar. Once heading outdoors fortune was on our side: the outdoor pool was completely empty. The water temperature was 35 Celsius and proved a nice contrast to the chilly wind. I really like the view, although it was a grey and rain cloudy day it was absolutely beautiful!
Lastly we tried the small but well equipped gym on the second floor before we enjoyed the sauna. The spa provides towels, locks, bathrobes, slippers and fresh fruit. The bathrobes could be smaller & fluffier and the fruit buffet a bit more generous & interesting but otherwise everything was really nice!
