The food here is good, but overpriced. We had lunch here mid-afternoon and basically had the place to ourselves. It was a very odd experience. How can I describe the music here? You know that guy who’s off on the dance floor in his own world? This place was that guy. Though the service was slow, they were all very nice, but quirky. The food — we got the charcuterie plate, the salted salmon(this is raw cured salmon served with warm boiled dill potatoes), and the moules frite. Good quality, good flavor, but all quite rich. I’m glad we had the lunch here for the story, but once is enough. Good food, quirky, but overpriced.

Only been here once and that was during lunch, but amazing food even though 120 people arrived at the same time during lunch just minutes before me. Had the butter fried fish with potatoes, caper and a wedge of lemon and it was amazing. For dessert a little raspberry mousse perfectly whipped and two homemade truffles that just melted in my mouth together with an espresso. Waiter excused them selves for being busy and offered a free cappuccino after dinner. Book a table if you don’t want to wait in line. Don’t go there during 12 – 13 since it’s packed.

Worst customer service I’ve ever had, in any country I have ever visited! Just unbelievable! Sunday afternoon, me and my dad sat on the patio for a quick bite. The waiter and someone who was wearing a black outfit, passed by our table many times, even stumbling on it, without even acknowledging our presence. The place was mostly empty, btw, just a few couples sitting outside enjoying the late afternoon sun. After 20 mins we decided to leave. On our way out of the patio, I thought I would let them know they had customers walking out of the door due to bad service. The gentleman wearing black started saying«no, no!», and I thought he was trying to convince us to stay. Actually, he was screaming at us, pointing at a sign on the floor saying«please, wait to be seated». Me and my dad really didn’t see that sign. Most cafes in Stockholm welcome you to sit yourself. Anyway, he started screaming and cursing at us in Italian!!! At this point, everybody, not only on their street side patio, but also people walking by were looking at us. The thing is, me and my dad are Italians too, so we could prefect understand he was screaming«Va fa’n cullo», which basically means«f$@! yourself!!!» I said«my friend, we are customers, are you out of your mind?». We left in disbelief… stopped at a pub, where we were told to sit ourselves and the waiter apologized for the wait(just about 1 minute). What a difference. That’s how service is Stockholm, courteous and friendly. Except when you go to Rolf de Mare… Unfreakingbelievable! When you pass by this place and its bald young Italian employee, there’s only one thing to do: RUN!

We dropped in late afternoon for a drink and we were glad to sit outside because a bad strong fishy smell was coming from inside! They maybe should check the kitchen aeration! Cold drinks were refreshing and service was extremely friendly.
